yes, dont know the years exactly but i know the snake was qb during one of the years.
Snake played from 1965-1967.Don't think they did the white helmets.
Perkins tried white helmets a few times in 1983 and 1984.Supposedly if the other team wore white helmets,Alabama wore crimson. I know they wore white vs us in '83,but don't think they did in 1984.

There is NO WAY Bama wears white helmets. You can take that to the bank. The all white unis are standard fare for road games, but there will be no white helmets.

There was also a "Remember the Confederacy Parade" in Auburn a few years back that had some people stirred up. Some frats held it in response to some of the racism charges that came after the party photos hit the news. A wise move....

this is gonna look really cool on tv...and bama should do the white helmets---they used to wear them back in the day. ESPN really hit the jackpot, two amazing SEC games in consecutive weeks.
