But who was his lead recruiter at UT?
DING DING DING
Sam Pittman.
Link? Pretty sure he didn't get the offer from Pittman.

Congrats on retaining a coach whose qualities cannot be utilized given the inherent, unshakable disadvantages that encumber the University of Arkansas.
And yet we were still able to kick the ever loving shite out of your Aggies every year we played in Dallas, under our former coach.
You have one above average season in your first year in the SEC and you sound like your BIG bro. from Austin.

4th in the country in fewest sacks allowed on a team constantly playing catch up that threw the ball 45 times per game in the conference with the best defenses. Sounds pretty lackluster to me.

Facepalm - you realize he was a soft verbal and expected to decommit before Dooley was even fired right?
Yet again, the fact that he recommitted to Pittman at Arkansas makes it blatantly obvious that it was a UT problem and not a Skipper/Pittman problem.

How many starters did we return? These kids were already great pass blockers before Pittman got to UT. He improved their run blocking, not their pass protection.

Yes - it was a UT problem. But it was credit to Bielema, not to Pittman. He didn't commit to Tennessee because of Pittman. Reeve was obviously largely on Pittman and was a good get. Still can't really look past his total whiff on Andrew Jelks.

have you been to Tuscaloosa/northport area. Most fans of other small poor states like to talk chit about another town but have never lived their nor spent much time there. You are too young to know better so here is for your troubles

That is your source? A site that routinely doesn't even have a kid's top 3 correct and can take months do update it?
He didn't receive his scholarship from Pittman when he was at UT. I don't even think Pittman was here at the time we began recruiting the kid.

The change in the sack:pass attempt ratio over the years says otherwise. The guy is a great O line coach, and has shown so far to be a great recruiter. I'm glad we paid what we need to keep him. Talk whatever shite y'all want but you're just making yourself sound dumb.

Lol, okay. So you expect the kid not to have a relationship with his future position coach.. good call. Jay Graham our former RB coach was the lead recruiter on Marquez North (WR). It's not simply the position coach as the lead recruiter.

This is funny - you probably didn't even see a UT game this past year. Tyler Bray was out half of 2011. Quick 2 step drops do wonders for sacks allowed. It also helps with 2 of the starters on the line aren't freshman anymore.

So why would you replace the guy after giving him a raise?

Here's a hint since you're clearly very slow. He meant that Pittman IS our top 10 O Line coach. And if you think otherwise then I'd ask why he was Nick Saban's first choice to replace his o line coach.

You are a moron.
Says the kid who doesn't recognize sarcasm when it slaps him in the face. And believes the lead recruiter is automatically a kid's potential position coach.
But sure guys - you're getting a truly elite offensive line coach and the BEST recruiter in the nation! He's worth every penny. Don't take my word for it - trust your instincts since most of you have likely only seen a Sam Pittman coached line 3-4 games. Even though you likely have no idea of our offensive line makeup and situation the past few years! Give me a break, you sound like the former Dooley sheep and now Butch Jones sheep over at volnation.com.
