I think it almost has to be a combination of the two. Jefferson is scared shitless in the pocket and loses his receivers when he's forced to scramble. But Crowton isn't helping his development in the slightest.

Do you think that being fearful of the criticisms J.Lee got last year might have a little bit to do with it? What I mean, is do you think that he is afraid of making mistakes, so he sits on the ball longer than he should?

He's hesitating and checking down for some reason. Whether it's because he's ultra-cognizant of how Lee was crucified last year or because he's just that unsure of himself I can't be sure. All I know is that if I were the guy coming in to replace Lee, I would have his failures in the back of my mind on every throw.

I think most Bama fans would be dissappointed if Bama did not get to the SEC champ game undefeated. Thus giving them a chance to get into the nat champ game with a win.

You admitted the only reason you made this thread was to "get" at some Bama fans. Nothin I said was inaccurate. If you'd like to talk football, I'm all for it, but to word and have a thread like the title isn't talking about football, it's looking to push buttons and when they're pushed back, you want to use the arrogant excuse. It's not a genuine topic and you know it.
As far as the game this year at BDS.. It's definately gonna be a great game. I don't think it's a given, just like this weekends isn't. Tn has a great defense and can make things happen. Same for Lsu, yall have a really good defense and I don't expect either team to lay down. It's gonna be a hard fought game and be late in the 4th before it's decided I think, similar to the S.C. and Va Tech game I believe.

Alahunter, what's your confidence in Alabama's ability to perform if we can reign in Ingram?
Say he gets something like 60 yards on 17 carries..

Y'all can't reign in Ingram. He is not our entire offense. There were 10 other guys out there blocking for him last night. Our recievers block better than a lot of teams O-Line.
Y'all may not ever cross the fifty against our Defense and I am not saying that being rude. I think y'alls only shot at offensive production against us is to play Lee this weekend and hope he is better than Jefferson. Our defense will have Jefferson so rattled he will not know where he is by the second quarter.

I think if yall contain our running game, that will be where the passing game picks back up. These past two games... the passing defenses were pretty tough, but when Ingram hasn't done as well, teams have focused on the run and that's when our O has clicked on passing. Until a defense can pressure the QB and take care of the run, one or the other should take care of things. Arky shut down our run to a good degree, yet it opened up the passing.

I'd resigned myself to the fact that LSU has a 90% chance of losing this game a few weeks ago. Fear is what happens when you have a great deal riding on something, and IMO, we don't.

You have to consider Arkansas's secondary as opposed to LSU's. I imagine Peterson v. Jones will go about the same as Peterson v. Green did. He got plenty of yards but no game-breaking plays.
I sure hope we figure something out in the next three weeks...

Beating LSU even in our house will be no walk in the Park for us.
Remember last year we beat you Arky beat you etc etc? Then your fans were moaning and groaning Before you went to the Chick-Fil-A Most of them did'nt believe Les would beat Georgia Tech. I remember I said a couple of times LSU has the talent to beat anyone. And VIOLA! Right again. You Frickers can be 5-7 and still pull it off. I've y'all do it too many times.

I have, but if you pull your linebackers up, and we get back to basics and utilizing our TE's in the passing game, it will hurt yall and PP won't even be in the equation. We've gotten away from what was successful in the passing game and I'd think over the next two weeks they'll figure it out and get that part of our game back on track.
