However, I know a select group of Bama fans, particularly in southern Tennessee and parts of North Alabama that truly do have more hate for UT.
I think you and I had a discussion about this. More specifically, the importance of geography as it relates to "rivals".

I agree completely with this. My whole stance in this thread has been the 90+% of Bama fans in here saying UT is more important to them than the Iron Bowl, when a review of the daily threads and posts on here, speak otherwise. Just saying there's a lot of dishonest people in this thread.

I blame it on lack of sleep and shitty coffee.

Winston Churchill --> Groucho Marx --> Coach Bryant --> Slick Willy is the natural progression of stogies.

Thanks for sharing the name games, but does the TN rivalry cause your school to do this?
We haven't lost to Tennessee since saban's has been here so there's no need to make a poster about losing to them. We've done the same thing after losing to Florida, la Monroe, and Mississippi state. Does that mean they are bigger rivals to us than Tennessee?

The Iron Bowl won't end. There is too much revenue generated by the game that stays within the state for that to happen.
Also, think about the impact that no Iron Bowl would have on Child Support.
Besides, if it did end, we would all know that it was due to the gumps being afraid of losing the winning record in the series.

Auburn rakes in around $425,000 in Iron Bowl hotel revenue

Robert Ratliff , executive director of the Tuscaloosa Convention and Visitors Bureau, estimates the total revenue the game generates runs between $12 million and $15 million

And right as it had just calmed down. I' am going to quietly excuse myself from this thread now.

I don't see how anyone who's grown up in the State of Alabama could say UT is a bigger rival than AU. We live next to each other...we went to school tegether... church together... see each other at the grocery store, etc. If you live in AL, you see the other school's fans 365 days a year.
My point is it's way more personal. Now, if you live in TN, or north of Huntsville I might see your point.
AU/UGA has more "history" than AU/Bama... but I'd give up 5 UGA wins for one Iron Bowl.

Do we need a sarcasm icon?
Both sides will equally try to spin excuses if he series were to end.

Can't find you a link after a quick Google search, but I remember one had the scoreboard of both the la Monroe and the msu games on it or something like that. And everything we did during the off season after 08 was centered around Florida. I think everyone misunderstands the "never again" poster. I think it means don't give let up in the second half, regardless of who the opponent is. Not to never lose to auburn again.

Really? Bama did a never again sign for La Monroe?

It was either la Monroe and msu or both msu losses, and I don't think you understand the meaning of the never again sign.
