I just remember they could never get their shite together. Shutdown because of some dispute about dining dollars, then reopened as the Crimson Cafe and Tavern or whatever. Now its a seafood place.

Shoulda let someone try and have a shot at another good bar on the Strip.

Where exactly is the new Booth? It was my favorite bar in college when it was on the strip but haven't been to the new one, nor even seen it. All I know is it is downtown somewhere.

We don't have original, quality music in Tuscaloosa, generally speaking.

I'm not joking. Check Pollstar yourself.

There are lots of reasons why this has happened. I blame the Bama Bangs kids, personally. But, at one time, this used to be a somewhat happening place, musically.

and what a rockin' show that was. Loved it.

Beach Boys two weeks ago were really good too.

Dr. Dog was awesome the week before that, and they should've opened up for the Lumineers, who were...okay.

Yeah, I was speaking more of the bands in bars scene. The major venue stuff is/was a numbers game.

Tuscaloosa used get all the acts because Coleman Coliseum was the biggest venue in the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa/Anniston market. When they opened the BJCC, all the shows went up there. The Tuscaloosa Amp is bringing back a few quality acts, though.
