The big 6 in the SEC is known to be Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee. If Alabama wins tomorrow night they will be 5-0 against the other members this season.

6-0.

You're forgetting their win over Alabama on September 19th.

No they can't. Bama already failed the sweep when they lost to Bama against Ole Miss.

Florida was the last to do it... back in 1996.

Bama did it in 1973 and 1964.

Teams that went 4-0 against the Big 6 were these:

Bama in 2012 went 4-0, but did not play Florida.
Bama in 2009 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.
Bama in 1992 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.
Bama in 1979 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.
Bama in 1979 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.
Bama in 1977 went 4-0, but did not play Florida.
Bama in 1971 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.

Auburn in 2004 went 4-0, but did not play Florida.
Auburn in 1993 went 4-0, but did not play Tennessee.
Auburn in 1983 went 4-0, but did not play LSU
Auburn in 1957 went 4-0, but did not play LSU

Florida in 2008 went 4-0, but did not play Auburn.
Florida in 1995 went 4-0, but did not play Alabama.

Georgia in 1948 went 4-0, but did not play Tennessee.

LSU in 2007 went 4-0, but did not play Georgia.

Tennessee in 1998 went 4-0, but did not play LSU.

Moron, because Tennessee is clearly the 2nd best program historically behind us.

Love how Bama fans are able to separate their team from any turnovers. It's as if turnovers are a fluke occurrence of nature that has nothing to do with the actual game or the other team.

Ole Miss did average 6.7 yards per play (compared to 5.0 for bama) with over 340 yards passing from Chad Kelly.

It's not like Ole Miss was completely reliant upon turnovers in order to move the ball. They moved the ball quite well all night.

Their defense also disrupted Coker enough to keep him at just 46% completion % all night. That has nothing to do with turnovers. It's called Ole Miss' defense was just better.

A merry Christmas, maybe.

A rude awakening in early January would still be immanent.

What I would like to know is how is Tennessee considered one of the Big 6 of the SEC?

This is why.

.684 All Time win %
50 bowl appearances
13 conf titles
6 national titles (even though a few aren't official)
336 NFL draft picks, tops in the SEC
72 first team all americans
Stadium capacity 102,455; sells out or nearly sells out every game
Reached 114 decibels vs Oklahoma, loudest of any cfb game this year
Reggie White, Peyton Manning, Jason Witten, Jamal Lewis, Arian Foster, Doug Atkins, Dale Carter, Stanley Morgan, etc. etc. jumpstarted their highly successful NFL careers at UT.
(and truth be told, we're probably one of the best 6 teams in the SEC right now anyway.)

Alabama had a 10 game winning streak recently. Enjoy those 2 wins. The one last year was more respectable of a win. This year was a fluke that just sucks it happened.

Well it's not like LSU is helping our schedule cause.
