Exactly. We did that with playing a fat harder schedule. Bama beat 3 teams with a winning record. LSU beat 8 ranked teams. So LSU led the sec in rushing and gave up LESS SACKS. wow learning thy Bama's oline isn't has good as LSU's. Dwi

If you're going to throw out a stat like this, you should include the number of pass attempts...alabama threw the ball 78 more times than LSU, I know a a sack isn't a pass attempt, but clearly mccarron was dropping back to throw more than the lsu duo

Well shite! Put me down for agreeing with that W in BR crap! You LSU folks are setting yourselves up for a major disappointment in November. You all will probably collectively go Hebert-post-BCSNCG-presser batshit after we rip that Tiger arse and drive the best coach outta BR that you guys have had since Saban.
lolzers. You're not driving anything out of BR except the camper you come to the game with after the Tahd is beaten by Les 3 years in a row. Just please don't poison Mike. And we'll be sure to keep our nutsacks in our pants if we win. Unlike some fanbases, the first thing we don't think of when seeing a passed out fan of a rival team is pulling our balls out.

Dude, the link was to the NCAA stat sheet so, I'm not the one that was wrong. Alabama played in one less game, ran the ball 508 times for 2788 yards 34 TDs with a 5.49 carry average, and 214.46 game average. Compared to LSU who played in one more game, 591 carries, 2836 yards, 35 TDs with a carry average of 4.8, game average of 202.57.

Does not compute.
Are you parsing to pump up Les' stature in the eyes of the (oh so rational) LSU fanbase? Are you ignoring January?

LSU was able to line up and mash most defensive lines and run between the tackles. The only front 7 they were not able to run effectively against was Bama and that's when the pass pro was exposed.
Collins was not the #1 OT coming out of high school, that distinction belongs to Cyrus who has already replaced the outland trophy winner at LT while Collins can't even beat out Hurst at RT who is terrible. He is still at Gaurd and might not even start there.
Fluker who mostly played Dline in high school was able to atleast stick at RT.

2010 - LSU beats Alabama
2011 - LSU beats Alabama
2012 - I predict LSU beats Alabama for the 3rd year in a row
I'm not ignoring January at all. But if Les wins this year, would it not be his 3rd straight season with a W over Alabama and Nick Saban? Or is my math wrong?

I guess you're forgetting LSU out rushing Bama on nov 5th and stomping your great oline Into submission.
Collins was the number 1 tackle for 11 months , then CK commits to an Alabama school and he is bumped up to 1 on rivals. Color me shocked.

And how did you come to that conclusion?

It's not funny. Sorry I think a team that beat 5 ranked teams ( and was yeast the best team in its conf) should have played over a team that only beat 3 teams with a winning record.

Most of Bammer Nation says and believes this anyway.
And some of you believe Collins is better than the best OG in the country, Chance Warmack.
Also, I've watch 11/5 and 1/9 plenty of times, Fluker did very good. I'd say Fluker was in control of the match up about 95% of the time.

Well rick like to say that alabama hasn't beaten LSU in 1000 days and you're saying lsu has beaten alabama 3 years in a row...what you say is true, but both of you like to conveniently omit the last time they met, hence the **

Uh, there was only one combined rushing touchdown scored in the two games last season, and it wasn't by one of LSU's running backs.
A large portion of your rushing yards on 11/5 came as a result of the speed option, which has significantly less to do with the comparative strengths of the o-lines and more to do with the execution of the perimeter defenders.

Of course you do, that would have given LSU a crystal ball instead of an arse whipping..why would LSU have wanted to play alabama again? They knew exactly what they were in for

Sorry everyone else thinks the best teams should play. You just wanted a gimme against the Cowboys.

After nov 3 it will have been 1000 days since Saban beat miles IN A SEC GAME. sorry you don't like that.

This. You only outrushed us because you had the option that we didn't prepare for. Don't say "Oh well for years Saban played JJ." That is ignorant, he planned for JJ those other years, on 11/5 we didn't. If we had planned for JJ we would've been 14-0.

Really? So now you're discounting LSU out rushing Bama because of the play it was gained on. You gumps need to get over yourselves. Bama isnt on some other level. Bama has 4 sec titles in 30 years. This isn't the 70's. Since 2000 LSU has more players in the nfl, more all Americans, as many NC, more sec titles, more wins than Bama. Deal with it.
