really nice area...i'm originally from new orleans...moved up here three years ago because i love the mtns here...and was time for a change...people are nice...no complaints but im thinking i would like to be more in the mtns instead of the foothills...

Look around the Townsend, TN area. They call it the peaceful side of the Smokies. Very quiet area but probably less than an hour or so to Cherokee NC and about a half an hour to Gatlinburg and Piegon Forge. Great area.

i had been to tuscaloosa so many times that i could walk around blindfolded...and after that tornado, i didnt recognize one freaking thing...

there's some reports that the storm going into pickets county has some rotation

Very strong storms with possible rotation heading towards Tuscaloosa in about an hour.

I think the Northern end of the Storm is coming through Missouri. I am in Rolla and the winds are gusting around pretty stong.
