Yeah, I knew that once I was on the fire Nix bandwagon his job was gone. Need a new DC, new safeties coach, and new special teams coach. LB's coach too, but doesn't Tyrone coach the LB's?

Nix is an idiot. He deserves to be fired. Id like to actually hire an OC. But that wont happen

Maybe get hugh freeze over here. I don't think Rader deserves to be fired, but he very well could.

I have been to games in oxford where the atmosphere was great. I was at alabama and lsu games last year. Last night really did feel like a high school atmosphere. And saying the junction is more fun is not stupid. It really is a ton of fun and if he likes it better then that's his opinion. The grove is definitely cool and unique but not as awesome as ole miss fans seem to think. IMO lsu has the best tailgating but not my favorite. Ole miss, alabama, auburn, and state all tie for first in my book.

wasn't he brought in to develop stanley for the pro style offense?

He was brought in to be the OC on paper. Nutt calls the plays. Always has always will

true
i think DC is a more pressing need than Nutt handing play calling duties, however. Watching Nix call blitzes is like watching someone throw shite at a wall hoping it sticks. there's nothing complex about them.

O knew how to bring in the talent on D. the '08 D was scary good during that win streak.

Well it's really all about how bad our defensive backs are. They don't shed blocks, they don't cover. We have maybe four people who shouldn't be playing, and it exposes the rest of the defense.
The three guys we lost out of our Defensive backfield were three of the best to have ever played for us.

and a lot of your spirit/genespage types were complaining about them last offseason.

And not all those guys were highly-rated recruits. O really was able to find those "diamonds in the rough" as well as go after the blue chippers.

Our three best defensive backs were converted from offense.
It's not a matter of the talent O brought in, 08 had everything to do with our D-line coach Tracey Rocker (Auburn's D-line coach)
In 09 our defense was good because we had three DB's who would go on to be in the NFL.
