First of all, I would like to tell you OM fans that I had a great time in Oxford. The weather was great for tailgating in the grove Saturday. I also enjoyed my time on the square Friday and Saturday night. Parrishes, the Library, Irie, and Frank and Marleys were all a lot of fun.

Now to the game. I thought that both teams played hard to the final horn. Ole Miss did a good job at stopping our running game early on, but we were able to hit some passing plays to open things up. Ladarius Perkins had his best ever game as a Bulldog, and Chris Relf put up career high passing numbers. Our Defense played solid as well. The overturn of the fumble at midfield was Huge towards the end.

Maybe It was just me but the sound system at VHS sounded really bad and wasnt loud enough, and the Hulk Hogan intro was kinda lame as well

One question for you OM fans, IF Nutt does stay do you think he will fire any of his assistant coaches?

Yeah, our sound wasn't working correctly for some reason.

That changes from game to game. We had the cast for Always Sunny, Tony Dungy, and against Auburn we had Scott Van Pelt. That intro was cool as frick. Hulk Hogan was lame as frick.

Snoop dog for 03 arkansas was the best.

FWIW the woman with the Hulkster, Dixie something (go figure) graduated from Ole Miss. An Ole Miss fan sitting by me told me that.

You guys spelled mississippi incorrectly. You don't get to make fun of us for typos.

Eli, did you go out last night?

Frank and Marley's was so packed people couldn't move. I found out one thing is true about OM fans. The saying "we may not win every football game, but we've never lost a party" VERY TRUE. The Square was packed.

I jammed out at Irie last night. Man the atmosphere at the ballgame last night was like a Vandy game. The fans really are terrible. Hell some of the ole miss fans I was with left at halftime. I tried telling them it wasn't over. I sat about halfway up on the fifty. People were pissed off that I was sitting there and it got so bad that my ole miss friend wanted to move.

yeah the Grove is awesome, but it really does take away from the gameday atmosphere. An overwhelming majority of the students leave at halftime or mid-way through the 3rd, even if the game is close. I don't get it.

The Grove once again failed to live up to the hype in my book. I mean its great if your a little older or not in college but from a college students perspective the junction is much more oriented for us.

The only reason I stayed was because I was watching the game with Itawamba and wanted him to enjoy it. The atmosphere was terrible because our team never gave our fans anything to be excited about. When you get pulverized like that all season, you'll get that type of reaction. The grove had nothing to do with it.

You should have been around for the O years. It was embrassing. Ive never understood why students and fans leave. The grove is fun. But for god's sake the grove is only there because there is a football game going on.

I agree. The wind was taken out of our sails with Jack St and we never regained it.

Not true. We caught some momentum with the Fresno and Kentucky games.

However, we went on the road and lost to Bama and Arkansas.

After going down big to Auburn, it was gone.

Don't ever put your copy-cat response in the same sentence with the Grove. You make yourself look very silly.

No kidding.

Most of the students were out of town for thanksgiving.
