Clowney's linemates took the pressure off him???
Chaz Sutton 3 sacks
Gerald Dixon 0 sacks
J.T Surratt 1.5 Sacks
Kelcy Quarles 9.5sacks
Somebody took the pressure off somebody and it was clowney occupying double teams that's how Quarles ended up with 9.5 sacks.
The rest of the line we got relatively no production from. Now compare that to the previous Season when Chaz Sutton who then was the backup had 5.5 sacks. That's how good Devin Taylor was opposite Clowney. Try actually watching the games first and not first take with skip clueless and friends

Yes we've lost our minds and we don't want them back

But cereal, dbt. Dude. What happened?
Since the season ended, it's just hated-SEC-person du jour.
Saban! Beliema! Clowney!
Pile on! Pile on!
None of it makes any sense.
The misplaced rage... is it from the SEC streak ending? Yep. That's it. I'm blaming Auburn.

It is party time on the board yo. USC was just invited. Who gets the next invitation???

If we had better hoops teams it probably wouldn't be so bad. The state of SEC men's basketball is just sad. Not enough baseball interest to cover.

Why can't dee just sale himself without tearing down Clowney?
I don't get that mindset that one must tear down someone else to make themselves look better.

Clowney will be a monster in the NFL.
Agreed. He sucked last year because everyone in the world was telling him he was already the #1 pick regardless of what he did. He did not want to be on the football field last year without pay, constantly being double teamed, risking injury. He did what he had to do, but nothing more. Hard to blame him with millions on the line if he gets hurt.
If I were the Texans, I would take him with the #1 pick and then either trade up to get a QB in the late first round or grab someone like AJ in the 2nd or 3rd. None of the QB's stand out enough to deserve a #1 pick with a guy like Clowney available.

Lots of dumb ITT.
Clowney will be a beast in the NFL. This is what he has been living for. Robert Quinn did not even play his Junior year, had a good Sophomore year, but not as good as Clowneys. He was an elite pass rusher in the league this year. People questioned his work ethic and blah blah blah, see how that worked out. NFL is a one on one game and Clowney, more times than not will be better than the guy in front of him, no matter what you think of him.
He is taller, faster, and heavier than Quinn. I just don't see how anyone is so confident this kid will be a bust.
