Here's something we can ALL agree with ... the winner for a tied division conference should be the higher ranked one. But, who cares when you're winning national championships every other year?

Auburn beat the shite out of Bama, after they had to have a last minute victory against an average MSU, let A&Ms Freshman QB look like an AA and played LSU close. That is just a sample as to why they didn't belong in the SECCG much less the Playoffs.

I’m more or less reading this thread for entertainment. If Auburn wants to hang division championships, so be it.
I’m just curious who you would’ve put as the 4th playoff team. I’m assuming it was the 2 loss Ohio State that got blown out by Oklahoma and Iowa?

Barn U. got lucky. They should be thanking the Cow God that they didn't face a healthy Bama D. Doubt they would have scored with overrated Kerryon and limp wristed Stidham.

What happened on Offense. They had a little over 300 yards that really came from one pass and one drive.

Blah, blah, blah. Bama was 3-0 in the games you mentioned, while AU was 2-1.
After the IB, Bama and AU each had one divisional loss, Bama had one less loss than AU. All things considered, head to head should be lower on the tiebreaker scale than overall record.
But hey, congrats on that West Championship and your nifty new wall. It looks swell.

We all know Bama fans do not want to judge a team by their on the field performance. It would make having a committee a waste of time and cause UAt to prove their worth.

NCAA is an organization that believes in Conference Champions in every sport. Then the Committee picks a team that their best win was against a very average MSU and didn't even play in their Championship Game. Not in another sport could that happen since the Berlin Wall fell.

The NCAA doesn’t believe in anything except rules and March madness. The CFB playoff committee clearly states the 4 best teams regardless of conference. But none of that has anything to do with my question. Who would you have put as the 4th team? A 2 loss big ten team that got blown out at home and at Iowa or a 1 loss big ten runner up or?

AU is 3-5 since 2010. If not for the Mulligans UA would have one more NC than AU in that period. The only real gap is Bama’s ability to get a redo.

I have often said I believed bama injury situation affected their chances of beating us. It certainly contributed to the game never really being in doubt during the 2nd half. uga fans don't seem to want to admit the same thing.
One big difference we never played bama this season when both teams were healthy so we would have something to compare the injured game too...
