This won't happen. Auburn has a much better defense than LSU is use to. While I agree LSU will probaly win,it won't be a blowout

I really like being totally discounted in this game. I hope the LSU staff is as focused on their Nov 5th super bowl as their fan base is.

Given that we lost to Auburn last season, and after the chicken shite stunts your program has pulled over the years, I assure you Les wants this one badly and won't let the team overlook anything.

Auburn has no run defense. This game will get ugly just like the past 2 weeks.

for reference

LSU has been in the redzone pretty much the exact same amount of times as BAMA, we score TD's 80% of the time, and get points 97% of the time...BAMA scores TD's 60% of the time

find some convoluted way to attribute that to our defense if you want...but those numbers are far above average and extremely impressive for any offense

I haven't read the entire thread, but has anyone posted a detailed analysis on why Auburn will cover, what matchups favor them, etc? Or has it mostly been "Too many points, must take points"?

LSU wins by three TD's at least. Aubie has played two decent teams and got stomped by both. They are average at best.

ahhhh I see now the word "attribute" was missing or something similar. It was a little confusing is all.
Thank you for the explanation.

By the way if a defense gives the offense a shorter field to work on it is usually a benefit. However, I get what you are trying to say.

Oh..dont get me wrong...defense has a great amount to do with the amount of opportunities you get to score

But what you do when you get those opportunities has more to do with your efficiency on offense...And LSU has an extremely efficient and effective scoring offense

Keep in mind it was auburn that ended lsus run last year! i can only imagine how painful that loss was to lsu players! not to mention a couple of recruiting fast ones pulled by auburn coaches recruiting louisiana players! remember that cam newton run? this defense does and im sure they will come out of that tunnel like bats out of -ELL!! ITS PAYBACK TIME BARNERS!! what comes around goes around! and me and 93000 of my friends are going to remind you how painful that loss was last year!!

I don't think it's that extreme considering how both teams have played this year and the fact it's at LSU. Au's QB situation is pretty shaky, at best, right now and the offense has been pretty bad the last several games. LSU's defense will sell out to stop Au's run game, making Au have to pass which is not a strong part for Au.

Au's defense has played two good games all year. Uf's offense was/is a clusterfrick and USCe had Garcia play his worst game of his career. In between those games they got torched by Ark. So I'm not so sure those games indicate that Au's defenseee has turned corner. Au's D has played the run decent but they haven't faced an OLine any where close to LSU's.

Only chance Au has to keep this close in the first half is for LSU to come out flat and make mistakes/turn over the ball a few times.

I can see why Au fans think this game might be close, they just beat FL and have a better record than they thought they would at this point in the season but that's just false hope.

In the end I see a LSU 38-45 to Au 7-13 type score. I'd take LSU and give the points.

Yah, dude, they're genius over there.

MSU favored.
USCe favored.
UF favored.

Damn, that's a stellar record so far.
