your guess is as good as mine. i was shocked to see the starting lineup against MSU. i think it was Lacey, Randolph, Cooper, Steele, and Gueye

If Ala wins tonight, are they automatically the #4 seed in the SEC tourney? in what scenario would they not be?

No. Need to be 10-6 to get to #4.

Well they are #4 now tied with UT so I'm not sure that's the case either. Is it?

Releford didn't start because of a "time management issue" according to Grant. So I'm assuming he was late to something. This game I expect to see Releford, Cooper, Randolph, Steele, and Green.

It depends, tonight doesn't clinch the #4 seed but 9-7 may be good enough depending on what else happens around the league.

If Alabama wins and UT loses tonight, we will be the 4th seed no matter what happens on Saturday.

I've really enjoyed the four guard lineup we'd gone to without Green. Wish we'd stick with it most of the time, especially for tonight's game seeing how well our pressure worked against them last time.

Got this from an ESPN chat going on right now: Jason King writes for ESPN

Mike (Cuse)

Last year when UCONN won the tourney, lets face it, they kind of shocked everyone. I mean they were the 9th ranked team in the BIG East, nobody expected it out of them. With that being said, is their any chance that a team from the bottoms of a major conference can spring to life and win the whole thing this year, just like UCONN did last year?

Jason King (3:36 PM)

Maybe a talented team that finished third or fourth in it's league - someone like Alabama or Georegtown or Baylor - could do it. interesting question. maybe that a good column for next week, huh.

Tonight though is more important than some think. I don't think we can afford a let down heading into the Ole Miss game. The team seems hot and playing with confidence but we gotta hope they haven't gotten complacent. If we win out I feel very good about getting to the semi's and who knows maybe pulling an upset next weekend.

We can't lose tonight, if we do it negates a lot of the good work we've done lately. I think most people understand that, but I just think most people think we'll win easily.
