Yep. We are all recruiting from the same pool of players. This can happen at any program in the country.

We had one like that some years ago, Ben Axiom I think was his name. He ended up resigning at Eastern Michigan if I am not mistaken. Spurrier immediately rescinded his scholarship - he never set foot on SCAR's campus.

If the kid is that kind of kid, that stupid, y'all will never miss him Auburn. The one thing you cannot do, under any circumstances, is allow him on to your roster.

You are devoid of facts..... again. Only one came back and the other players said he never hit the kid but failed to stop it. That is why he was punished. You should get the facts and then not look so uninformed.

Are you talking about the fact that you don't know the facts. Why don't you go read the police report before chastising people for not knowing the facts, while you make them up yourself.

If you are able, read this.....

According to arrest warrants, Pettway was accused of being at the scene of two assaults. His degree of involvement is unclear and details of his current legal standing are unobtainable because of his status as a youthful offender. Former Alabama players Eddie Williams and Tyler Hayes both admitted to physically assaulting the two students while Brent Calloway admitted to using one of the student's UA student action card to purchase snacks from a vending machine, according to the warrants.

Shortly thereafter, all four players were dismissed from the football team and announced to be "no longer enrolled" at Alabama. According to a university statement released Friday, Pettway was suspended from UA.

He was the only member of the group who had a chance to rejoin the team, Saban said Sunday.

I do get tired of the coach speak of "high character" players. He doesn't know these players very well to say those comments.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I will be joining Gus, his wfe, and the Auburn family in prayer for
this young man's soul and ball skills.

It's nice that the details remain unclear. Except for the fact that it was released. It's nice that they left off the other part of what Williams and Haynes stated as well, isn't it. Again, when chastising people about facts why don't you resort to facts instead of making them up.

When you find the report come back and let me know what it says. I gave you a hint above.

The police report means nothing after testimony by the one's involved.
The Associated Press, citing court documents, reported linebacker Tyler Hayes, 18, also confessed to robbing the student, who was punched in the head and face and kicked in the ribs and back.

Williams said D.J. Pettway, 20, a defensive lineman, and Hayes waited in a nearby vehicle about an hour later while he knocked out and robbed another student.

LINK

D.J. didn't knock out the student. He was in a car and didn't prevent Williams from doing it. D.J. deserved what he got but there is a reason he was the only one allowed back.

So a police report that includes statements from both the victims and the perps after the four were arrested, means nothing? Good stuff.

Correct on the second occurrence, not the first. Again, might want to get actual facts involved here.

Exactly, but these hypocritical tards like to ride a high horse to troll/flame, even though this same type of shite happens to every program in the SEC.

How many SEC championships does Arky have? I forgot?

BTW what does Marshall/Cam have to do with the purpose of this thread? This is about a AU signee that got arrested not a starting QB.

Has nothing to do with the topic. Maybe we should take in thugs from other programs to help out. It works for Auburn

Jumped in late seems like you're the one devoid of facts.... Hey who cares what the victims say? As long as he's back on the football team...

Neither does your comment. This is specific to an AU Signee. Good try.

Auburn signees getting arrested before even making it to campus. Bama's thugs need to step up their game. I'm looking at you Tony Brown

First the police reports are not always correct and lack an investigator and interrogation of witnesses. If police reports are 100% accurate then why have a trial?

I was responding to the first poster who claimed that all 4 beat up the student and we brought them all back.

quote:
Your players beating the shite out of students at the university and y'all allow them back..

Therefore the poster is void of facts.

keep changing the argument.

So are you saying this police report, after the arrest, where two of the perps stories, matched what the victims stated as well, are incorrect? Your comments suggest you don't know what's up

quote:

And what he said was some what correct and what you just stated is something you assumed, not what he stated. you also said he was devoid of facts, when you yourself created "facts"

quote:

Therefore the poster is void of facts.

Your statement now leads me to believe you really are clueless.
