The thing that baffles me is that from 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. was there anyone actually looking for the real desmonte?
I mean if he heard that the police, FBI, marshalls and all those people were at a house they thought he was in, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that is your time to move. You can make it a long way in 7 hours

(Reuters) - A manhunt for the suspected killer of three men near Auburn University in Alabama led police and federal authorities to raid the wrong house Monday night, an FBI spokesman said on Tuesday.
Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were searching for Desmonte Leonard, 22, the prime suspect in Saturday's shooting in which two former Auburn University football players were killed and a current player was wounded.
Police fired tear-gas cartridges into a house in Leonard's hometown of Montgomery, about 55 miles from Auburn.
The location "turned out not to be correct," FBI spokesman Douglas Astralaga said.
Three men were killed and three were wounded in the shooting at an apartment complex near the Auburn campus. One of wounded remains in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head.

Are yo frickin kidding me?
So the homeowner who called in the 911 call gave them the address and they went to the wrong one?
I hope those homeowners that the police tore up sue their asses.

I think they are saying the information was incorrect not the house. At least that's how I read it.

So in summary this is what happened: fake twitter and facebook login was a setup to lure cops to that house and while all attention was there he was able to get away, probably out of the state?

It really is. They said they were without a doubt last night someone was up there, the only thing they wee unsure about was who.
Then it's just like, oh never mind we didn't actually hear anything
They said they could here breathing and had thermal imaging.. I don't know, just so weird

pretty sure it means the info was incorrect, not that they showed up at the wrong house... very misleading article

I still don't understand how the fake twitter comes into this. Everyone on this board knew it was fake and obviously a joke about the situation. Why the hell even bring it up in the press conference?

So who did they see with their thermal vision goggles and what did they hear breathing?

It pisses me off that the killer is going to undoubtedly get an ego boost out of this.
