Auburn bros. general admission tickets are sold out but anyone know how much tickets are going for on the secondary market? I go to LSU but I'm looking at seeing what the rodeo is all about

Are you really willing to waste money on a ticket to a fricking rodeo?

You sound like an expert in this field. Thanks for the input.

Check the Auburn ticket exchange on Facebook. That's your best bet, but be willing to pay a decent mark up.

For the record, nobody goes to the rodeo for the rodeo.
I've been to 2 and have yet to see a bull or horse.
Bring beer and lots of it.

Nah, he was just making a pointless thread
I've seen people reselling them for $35-40 a piece. Seems a bit pricy (I'm not sure what they retailed for this year) but as long as you have some people to go with, it's worth the price.

You've missed out. Watching the amateurs attempt the events is pretty damn entertaining.

Who are these people? I know several that have gotten 80+ for them. Retail was 45.

I think 60-80 is reasonable

Really? Girls in vert class were seeing if me and this other person wanted to go. They said they had 4 extra. I guess they are better friends than I thought

You shouldn't have an issue then. Like I said, check the ticket exchange. Have a good time. I'm not too excited about the music this year, but it won't have much bearing on the amount of fun I have.

I've heard a few stories about some drunkards climbing on a bull and getting rocked.
The real fun of the rodeo to me is witnessing the absolute hilarity and insanity that ensues from sunup til sundown in a pasture.

I've been many times and have yet to remember the musical performance

I'll be a little later (10 or so) getting out there than usual, but after that it's on. I just can't pass up what should be a perfect morning to turkey hunt to get in an extra two hours of drinking on what is already an all day drinking affair.
It'll be a good time. Anyone that can't have fun at Rodeo isn't going to have fun anywhere.

You have already received the advice I would give but I just wanted to comment on how excited I am. Best day of the year without a doubt.

I cannot wait... the excitement has set in officially. Gonna be a hell of a good time Saturday

There might not be anything more true, honest-to-God American than Rodeo. It's damn hard to beat.
