Turnovers are the main reason why Auburn lost but I will say it again as an alum and a rival: yall should be scared of how mid Bama's football team is. Personally I think Daniels out played Ty with an inferior OL and receivers.

I realize yall arent going to score 40 ppg every year but yall hired offensive minded coaches expecting a dynamic team and have only hovered around 30ppg since Deboer was hired. Not that great.

I think they are good not great. Talented, but not elite.

Probably not a national championship caliber team and the only reason we are in the "playoffs" is because it's a dumb format.

I think we have a championship quality defense, but our offense struggled last night. I know some of that is due to the TE injury, but really I think it boils down to our OL and the fact that we can't find the open man on blitzes.

Overall the final score was about what FEI predicted, it had Alabama winning 27-18. However I doubt it had Auburn out gaining Alabama and Alabama winning because of turnovers.

Also, Auburn really underachieved this year. Top25 in power rankings and yet not even bowl eligible. Just kept finding ways to lose.

Bama never holds. You will learn that when you spend enough time in the SEC.

Hell the one highlight at the end of game showed a horrendous hold on a TD pass by bama. But no call ever.

We lost.
We turned the ball over twice.
They did not.

Most close losses reflect small things you could have prevented.

We lost because we don’t emphasize ball security enough. We fumbled several times and IF you keep laying the ball on the ground, you may lose possession.

We also dropped several routine catches.

We also had some presnap penalties- AT HOME!

These are all coaching issues and player issues.

A mid football team doesn't go 10-2 in the deepest conference in college football.

Yes they clearly can.

Go to their board. That is exactly what they are and should be saying. They were minus 2 in turnovers and had numerous drops that could have easily changed the outcome.
