And...lo and behold, the CDC now says you don't need to be tested if you are asymptomatic.
If we stopped testing anyone who is asymptomatic, the case numbers would fall off a damn cliff as high as Mt. Everest.
Especially in the under 30 age group.

In as late as July/early August hospitals in Mississippi were full and turning away COVID patients. It has been easing up the last couple of weeks, but a spike could put hospitals back in a tough situation again. So, yes, there are legitimate concerns about the ability of the system to deal with the issue.
