This game had the makings of a classic IB, both teams had a shot of making the playoff. I can't imagine the hype of this game if Gus had only prepared a backup plan for his injured QB heading into Athens.

If I'm not mistaken, Auburn was responsible for UA not 3 peating. I'm sure Auburn is well aware of the implications. Regardless, it would take an SEC championship loss, which is highly unlikely.

We look to be outmatched. I am hoping for a classic IB that will give Auburn their 9th win and a chance for 10 in a good bowl game. I will then enjoy the other games on that day.
The other stuff is inconsequential to me because of the loss to Uga. It would have made it more intriguing if we had won that game, but we did not.

A win puts us in NOLA, which a big step up from BHam obviously...but it would be bittersweet knowing we'd be in the playoffs if we hadn't gone full tard against a shitty arse uga team. As bad as JFIII is, I have to think he could have gotten us in FG range enough to beat that team. Just too beat up when we played them.
