With Johnson out, something to remember on Malzahn’s searches for assistants: Took him 1 day to hire Johnson, 2 to hire Lashlee. Moves fast.

Stretching my legs. Been cooped up for a long time.

I don't know why it's funny. At this point, there isn't much difference in the A&M DC job and Auburn DC job. Will spent as many years in Texas as he did at Auburn.
Bigger recruiting base, better funds, still have to worry about the same HUNH offense. Not really much difference, but laugh away.
If Will was smart, he'd go to USCe and take over when Spurrier retires in a couple of years. Where is he upward mobility at Auburn? Look at the last several DC's to work there and their current employment status.

If we get Muschamp, the deal was done well before last night.

Would def agree but the OBC is too set in his ways. He's not willing to do what it takes to win the SEC or more.

Also started his coaching career as a GA at Auburn.
Can't wait til Nick Saban goes "home" to Kent State!

No one wants to live in Columbia, SC anyway. Smells like pig farts and garlic. It is the sulfur smell from all the processing plants around there that does it.

Muschamp enjoyed his time in Auburn. Meanwhile, he compared College Station to a toilet.

I agree. Gus will fire and hire who he is told by the powers that be.

I'm sure he has sharpened his epicurian standards in the delightful cultural MECCA that is fricking Gainesville or Auburn.

Money isn't everything to everyone all the time. And some people can actually see farther down the line for you. Allow me to elaborate...
Say Mus does go to ATM, he's never going to be the head coach if he wants another shot at it. But he could build South Carolina up bring an up and coming OC into the equation and do well as the HC when Spurrier retires. Which is an actual reality.
See what I did there?????

Please, trying to equate nuss to the revolving door that is the auburn coaching staff since 2008 is ridiculous.
Step slowly back and really think about this and how it probably affects incoming coaches from here on out.
The standard has been set, beat Alabama (consistently the best team in the nation) or get fired.

Which both take a giant shite all over College Station.

DC at A&M has more history behind it than HC at USCe. It is close, but sorry...
