War Eagle basketball fans !!! We are 13-1 and this team is definitely going dancing this year ! Pearl Jam - has finally arrived !! We are kicking AZZ !
Meanwhile in Tusca-LOSER ville .. you Bama hopefuls who thought that Avery Johnson could lead you to the tourney.. enjoy sitting that butt at home again this year. You have 5 losses so far.. with more to come. We will sweep you guys again.. Enjoy the NIT if you qualify for that !

There is a football game yet to be played. I’m sure most Bammers don’t even know the basketball team’s record...though most would probably assume it’s pretty mediocre.

They should add a free rabbit's foot, four leaf clover, or some type of other lucky charm with that delivery. After all a large portion of bammers success in football is based on dumb luck. How else would explain playing for a national championship on two separate occasions without winning the western division?

I can’t even get mad about this. If you’re an AU basketball fan, you must definitely make hay while the sun shines, as the saying goes. OP has probably been saving this post for almost a decade.
As an aside, my favorite part about this whole thing is that he spelled it “Aubbie,” while making sure to throw in a reference to Georgia Tech. I’d like to wager that this fine fellow has never set foot on either Auburn’s or Tech’s campuses other than on game day, but the other Auburn posters here have helped me to understand that every single Tiger fan has a diploma from the school.

It is also comical that bammers are dumb enough to bring up recent struggles in basketball. Bammers men's program has made the NCAA tournament once since 2006. Bammers women's program hasn't made the tournament at all since the late 1990's
