Auburn isn't going to the East. Alabama won't lose the Iron Bowl, and we won't lose the TSIO. And the SEC will always treat Alabama like the favorite son, so everyone can just let the idea die.

and I stated the only two that it would benefit, AU and Mizzou.

yea, no, not really, location? we have 3 schools in 2 border states in the east, in the west we would have 1 in 1. Travelwise it's nearly a wash, we just wouldn't save many miles at all moving to the west.

So no, the only benefit would be continuing the aTm matchup and thus enhancing the recruitment of Texas, but we can do that anyway. We're pretty established there now.

Being in the East has enhanced our FL recruiting and pretty much launched the Ga/Tn recruiting as well. As with many fan bases a late season trip to play at FL is not at all unappealing.

Happy right where we're at, but ok in either div really.

frick off. It's obvious you don't get the point that Auburn wants to restore rivalries lost before the first expansion...UT and UF. Just go back to crying about having to play UF every year.

The AU prez stated that Mizzou is in favor of moving. That is what I based my statement on. If you are correct, then AU is the only school for the switch. Either way, AU will stay in the west, Mizzou in east

I mean, I can help you out.. They obviously run the scheduling, the referees, etc. My point is a fact. Let me know when Auburn goes to the East without Bama's blessing.

Why can't we just add another conference game? Then people can stop crying about waiting too long in between cross divisional games.

Really? You don't know why?

Can you imagine the uproar when Alabama gets 5 home games and LSU only gets 4?

It's obvious you don't get the point that no one cares that that's what Auburn wants, just like no one cares what LSU wants.

Sorry.

And let you cry alone about lost rivalries? I'd never do that to you, son.

But the fact is that if you want fans of other teams to care about your trivial bullshite, it might help if you cared about theirs instead of ridiculing them for it.

Personally, I don't give a shite if Auburn moves east, or if LSU plays UF every year or not. I just like to watch competitive football games - unlike that shite show Auburn put on in Tiger Stadium last year.

Congratulations son, you beat the SEC Champions and finished third in your own Division.

So we drop the Iron Bowl and keep the Alabama-Tennessee game. Easy.

We like playing both. I did a poll on the Bama board a couple weeks ago and I actually think UT came out ahead in a "Who would you rather play every year".
A lot of those same Alabama fans will tell you they don't care about Auburn, but actions speak louder than words. Just a visit an Alabama message board and see who they obsess more over. Hint: It is not Tennessee.

I have lived in the state of Alabama all my life and I have only met a handful of bammers who cared more about Tennessee. And it would be just fine with me if they did, but they don't. I could survive just fine not playing Alabama any more
