To your last point the players are suspended from the university - not just the football team.

Right! That’s what I gathered, which is why it doesn’t make sense that the statement only mentioned violations of athletics department rules. AD rules violations would not warrant a suspension from the university.

Basically, we’re all MercerBears during his second trip to Oxford.
1. Twitter account was created and alleged that Auburn star RB Jarquez Hunter had taken videos (and had his friend take videos) of him and his buddies engaged in sex acts (together) with an unknown female without her consent. Twitter account also alleged these videos were distributed in at least one group chat without the girl’s consent. Twitter account posted the videos, pics, and also several pics Jarquez had taken of his naked male teammates in the shower - apparently also without their knowledge.
2. AU Title IX investigator Jeff Lamoureaux sent an email to several group chat participants asking for their cooperation in the investigation. This email was also leaked by the Twitter account.
3. Despite this Twitter account having been created over two weeks ago, it wasn’t until Tuscaloosa asked Gloria Allred and Nancy Grace to get involved that Auburn University decided to take action.
4. Auburn University released a statement, confirming that multiple people have been suspended due to a violation of unspecified rules and provided no further comment.
