Notice the use of the word "may" in the quote you are referring to.

LOL, you're saying two totally different things.
a) He has a big arm but it doesn't make him accurate.
b) a big arm compensates for poor accuracy.

No, I'm saying he isn't naturally accurate, you can't really change that. But with his arm strength, it can compensate for the lack of accuracy.

Maybe if you've ever thrown a football, you'd know what I mean...

It did enough for him in college...

LOL,you're absolutely clueless. LOL at saying if you're inaccurate, having a strong arm makes up for it.

Have no idea why I'm going back forth with a person who has fricking Magilla Gorilla as their sig pic. Just hope you're no older that 12.

Have at it Hoss

Because it does. Take a look a JaMarcus Russell's junior season, 67% completion percentage. Velocity CAN compensate for accuracy on certain levels...

What back and forth? You have yet to do anything but post "LOL" or name calling. Name calling is the sign of a losing argument.

And FYI The name is a play on Magilla Gorilla, which started back in '63. Trying to turn the conversation to something else is another sign of a losing argument.

Face it, you suck at arguing, you bring nothing with your responses.

AE would love you as a member...

AU fans are excited because, like RB said, Cam APPEARS to be an improvement over Chris Todd. Mobility will, hopefully, allow Newton to keep plays alive that would have ended in a sack last year.

But, I will say that I was excited about Kodi, believing he was an improvement over Brandon Cox. Then I was optimistic about Todd being an improvement over Burns. Optimism and hype don't mean a damn thing on the field.

I missed the part where I called you a name.

So did Scooby Doo, but you don't see grown men on a football message board using it as their screen name and sig pic.

Your argument contradicts itself. you're saying if a passer is inaccurate, but has a strong arm, the strong arm compensates for the inaccuracy. And if you're saying his strong arm makes him throw the ball where he wants, that would make him an accurate passer.

It makes absolulety no sense, if you're inaccurate, you're inaccurate regardless of how strong your arm is.

And I'm still waiting for you to explain how a pass can be 'too high' but the receiver catches the ball underhanded. That makes no sense either.

What exactly did Cam do? I didn't see one TD drive. His part of the "highlight reel" was 3 or 4 completed passes.

Look around. It's bad enough you are grabbing at straws trying to insult me just because you can't post a decent argument.

No I'm saying it CAN, but not all the time. All QBs have levels of accuracy, but some have a better arm to cover that flaw. Not every single QB in the NFL is an "accurate passer". Look at JaMarcus Russell's junior year stats, 67% completion percentage. Not bad for someone with no accuracy as you said right? But I'm sure you will ignore this yet again while responding.

And in regards to that pass, I didn't say it was "too high", I said "a little high", and I stand by it. The ball is around his shoulder tops/neck, he had to catch it from under...

Do your homework man, Cam threw 8 passes the whole scrimmage and wasn't allowed to run. What do you want him to do?

Ok, maybe I'm miss understanding your argument. Let's get some clarification. When you say "Velocity can compensate for poor accuracy"
, are you saying

1. A QB can have poor accuracy, but if has good velocity he can be successful
or
2. A Qb can have poor accuracy but his velocity can make him an accurate passer?

This is what I'm saying, very few QBs have both great accuracy and a big arm, but someone can look accurate at times due to the strong arm...
