I'm intrigued how they will look when Sumlin gets a couple of his recruiting classes.

I know Sherman got a lot of shite from Aggie fans (rightfully so) but the man could recruit lineman.

The only player I see leaving is Joeckel.
Jake Matthews wants to play on the same o-line as his brother Mike, who will be our starting center next year.
Kameron Miles, a current Tennessee commit at safety, is shopping around...oh, and he's Damontre Moore's cousin. Moore staying will virtually guarantee that they'll be on the field at the same time. Here's the lineup I see for next season (incoming and projected recruits in italics, returning starters in bold)
QB: Manziel (RSSO), Davis (RSFR)
HB: Malena (SR), Brandon Williams (RSSO)
WR: Evans (RSSO), Adeboyejo (FR)
WR: Kennedy (RSJR), Tabuyo (FR)
WR: Johnson (SO), Gonzalez (FR)
WR: Seals-Jones (FR), Pope (RSFR)
TE: Hicks (SR), Askew (SR)
LT: Jake Matthews (SR), Ifedi (RSFR)
LG: Harrison (RSJR), Klinke (SR)
C: Mike Matthews (SO), Compton (JR)
RG: Ogbuehi (RSJR), Wilson (FR)
RT: Cheek (RSSO), Tipoti (RSFR)
WDE: Moore (SR), Tyrell Taylor (JR)
DT: Zimmerman (JR), Huggins (FR)
NT: Ennis (RSSR), Golden (FR)
SDE: Obioha (SO), Stansbury (RSJR)
WOLB: Baggs (JR), Richmond (RSFR)
MLB: Jenkins (SR), Savaiinaea (FR)
SOLB: Flowers (JR), Richardson (SO)
CB: Harris (SO), Ellis (FR)
FS: Everett (JR), Howard Matthews (JR)
SS: Hurd (SR), Miles (FR)
CB: Jacobs (SR), Garner (FR)
P: Kaser (RSSO)
K: Bertolet (RSSO)

I've heard that Joeckel has said he wants to stay and get his degree, but who knows.

Sumlin is recruiting really well right now, including on the o-line and d-line.
To answer the question: gone for sure is Swope, McNeal, EZ, Lewis, Dustin Harris, Sean Porter, Spencer Nealy, Stewart off the top of my head that are major contributors.
Could lose early: DaMontre, Matthews, and Joeckel. I think Joeckel goes and Matthews and DaMontre stay. Matthews moves to the LT spot, Cedric moves to RT, Cheek to LG, and Mike Matthews is the new center.
We have plenty of receivers ready to replace Swope, EZ, and McNeal. Especially if we pick up Ricky-Seals Jones.

He also did a great job of rebuilding our team after Fran brought the whole damn program to the ground. He may not have been the best gameday coach, but he deserves a lot of credit for rebuilding our roster, especially on the O Line.

I'm specifically happy about the Pacific Islanders coming in.

You want to talk about next year ... Let's talk PLK.
Our place-kicker, once again, continues to leave points on the board. Almost cost us another game last night. Two missed FGs & an extra point that should've been automatic.
The freshman has tons of potential, but he needs to grab a seat for the remainder of the season. We've had enough cardiac moments for one season.

Yes, we're scared A&M may score 2 TDs again. It would really be terrible if one of them wasn't even meaningless.

not so sure about that!
Once our D adjusted, we suffocated JFF and crew. Chavis has shown time and time again that his defenses can make great in game adjustments and can contain fast-paced offenses. I'm impressed by TAMU's offense but until they have an elite defense, they won't be the #1 team I'm concerned with.

they are step-cousins and barely know each other. I don't think it's going to be much of a factor. A bigger factor on Moore is he just turned 20 a few weeks ago (he got to A&M at 17 and did not redshirt). He's still a kid and has a lot of maturing to do.
He's gotten very close with Von and his family and Von made the call to come back and enjoyed every second of it. I'm not saying Moore won't go, but a case can be made for him to stay (and insurance can be bought so the risk isn't really that high)

Do you think they enjoy having to go to class, make decent grades, etc, etc? Not to mention the potential injury factor. It's smart to leave early if you are a projected first or second rounder.
Wrong cat breath. The $$ isnt as much now for rookies and there is still big difference between a ten pick than a 28-32nd pick, let alone second round pick. A second round that stays a year and is a mid first round pick the next year will more than double his salary for a few years. I think everyone should stay unless they have dire family financial problems....NFL shelf life is very short and then what? That money will be gone after a few years and you cant even coach high school ball without diploma. Think about it. You know how many first round players are broke ten years later? A lot. The problem is most are kids and cant see tens yrs down the road.

This is true of Luke and Demontre, but Matthews? He's loaded with $ now. He can take turf management and intro to teaching PE for classes - it doesn't have to be hard. Plus, class is a diversion where you can go scam on chicks. I wish I was there still instead of in my office. Guy has a spring and summer full of working out with his brother, pool parties, and beautiful college women without the pressure of NFL reality but with the support of a millionaire family. It may be wishful thinking, but I bet Matthews comes back. Supposedly Demontre is getting pressure from Von's family to stay. I dunno though. That's a lot of money for someone that doesn't have it. I think Luke would be crazy to stay, unless he comes from oil money or something and I don't know it.

No they'll return to ensure BR weeps when we visit next year. They're returning for hardware.

No score in a game whose last kickoff is onside can be deemed "meaningless."
HTH.

I know one thing...they are one fluke injury to JF from becoming barely mediocre.

JFF barely won the starting job this year against (now back-up QB) Jameil Showers. I'd be sick if JFF was injured; but we'd be fine at QB.
