Do you think Arkansas is the better team? Do you think they thrash our defense? Do we blow them out or is it a close game?

I thought their breakdowns didn't come until the second half?

K-State is the opposite of us. They keep games close with a ground control offense and they find a way to get it done at the end.
Their QB is like some sort of Viking warrior who is enormous and deceptively fast.

Their defense probably won't be intimidated by the matchup, seeing as they played against high powered passing attacks week in and week out. However, their defense IS ranked near the bottom in pass and total defense, mostly because of that very fact. In truth, their offense is their best defense when it is clicking.

I think Arky is the superior team, but I have watched them beat many a team I considered superior to them.

I've been watching some of their games on ESPN3 and their offense looks pretty good. People call Klein another Tebow but they don't run that same kind of offense at all. They run a lot of 4 WR sets with 3 WR on one side and 1 on the other and then he will take off after dropping back to pass because the defense is so spread out. They also run the occasional speed option but the majority of his runs are one pass read and then take off. I definitely see us having a hard time stopping this because that is what Cam Newton and Terrelle Pryor killed us on last year.

Hopefully our new DC isn't quite as inept at stopping that as our previous one.

Kstate.....

Ok...now that we have that aside. Arkansas doesn't lose to left behind Big12 schools....We don't do that.

I smell a Razorback beat down of KSU coming...This game will not be close.

I hope not but I don't know how much input he is going to have before the bowl game since he keeps stressing that we are going to keep Willy's terminology until after the game.

I am curious to know if Reggie is still running the D in practice or if Paul has already taken control.

Vandy and Ole miss weren't supposed to be close either and have about the same excitement level from our fanbase.

If there is one thing I have learned in my thirty years as an Arkansas fan it is that even Eastern Michigan could beat us in a bowl game.

I am always nervous going in to these things.

the scheme he is talking about running is so similar to the WR defense that you won't even notice much of a difference. Everything i've read says that he uses most of the same stuff so he learns some terms and gets the overall game plan together and hopefully teaches fundamentals till the bowl game.

Not saying this won't be the case, but most of the ten teams the beat this year felt the same way. They took OSU to the wire and really only had the one bad loss to OU

They only thing that makes me feel good about this is that Arkansas actually has a better defense statistically than OU and over 50 spots better than OSU. It's amazing OSU is 11-1 considering their defense is ranked 107th.

Good points...but we got this one. I've got a few years of experience too.

Place your bets!

Yeah I have seen that as well. If he can just tweak a few things then we might actually be pretty decent. Personally I think fundamentals are the only thing keeping us from being a very solid defense.
