their year to win the east, they have no shot vs the west winner
No one in the country will have a chance against the West winner. Those scholly limits will bite USC in the arse against any really good team they face. Alabama, Arkansas, and LSU will probably only have loses to each other at the end of the year again. Bama is talented but young, Arkansas needs to get their defense up to snuff, and LSU needs mett to really be a play maker instead of just another Lee or JJ. All three teams are flawed but all the flaws are pretty minor compared to what the rest of the country will put on the field. Arkansas gets a top 25 defense and next year looks like last year except the Bama and LSU games are way more competitive.

And so it is written.

i think that should be the goal of our first year defensive coordinator. Any less and i'll be disappointed in our staff.

Well, shiite. Our goal should be top 8 D and top 100 O then.

lol the offense can't be any worse than it was last year.

They just have serious problems down there. This was supposed to be their year.
In my observation, UGA has often cracked under high expectations.
It scares me more to see them going through some struggles.

Playing in the same division must award Arkansas depth by proxy to claim no one in the nation will be deep enought to hang with the Hogs. Good Luck with that !

I'm basing that off our results when we played a then top 15 kstate team and dominated them for most of the game.

2007 Georgia.
This was Arian Foster and Montario Hardesty's favorite UGA team as well.

Where were they ranked at the end of the season? That's all the matters, no? And, I have no idea where they were ranked or if they were ranked but rankings at the time played matters little.

sorry that was my bad on my wording I was going to write then top 10 team and deleted to say top 15 because that's what they were at the end of the season.

An example of Arkansas depth or lack there of: Mississippi hangs with Bama in the 1st half and is quickly slaughtered in the second, The same Mississippi team takes Arkansas deep into the game before folding.

or a top 10 USC team hanging with us till the third and then proceeding to hang more points on them than anyone else this season.

Again good luck with that !

Just pointing out there are examples of our depth when it counted.
There are examples on both sides of the argument. Clearly the Bama and LSU games showed the difference between the depth of the teams. However the only teams I saw play that I figured would definitely beat us were Bama and LSU. Arkansas and Okie state would have been a toss up in my opinion.

I am pretty Oklahoma State too did not/does not have any more or less depth than Arkansas who had/has nowhere near the depth of Bama or LSU particularly on D.
Arkansas starting 22 could possibly be the best team next year winning the Crytal however depth over the opponent in Miami will not be a contributing factor

We actually have a pretty deep team. We rotate in and out a lot at almost every position except quarterback. The only teams in the country deeper than us are bama and lsu. Depth will play a part if we make a championship run. The trick to beating bama will be our ability to run the ball effectively. Saban has been able to beat us because we couldn't effectively run the ball and when he knows you are going to pass shite isn't going to go well. We have already displayed that the LSU defense isn't nearly as effective when we aren't 1 dimensional.

My bad, I will agree Arkansas is stacked and the other 119 teams are fucckkked due to their depth

Question: Was Sean Bailey a brother/cousin/relative of Champ Bailey or Boss Bailey? He made that amazing touchdown catch against us in 2007 and it forever haunts me at night.
naw, pretty sure he's of a different bailey clan
