I think Patterson would be a pretty good get for LSU. He may be the type of guy to turn things around down in BR.

LSU doesn't need to turn things around, I think you have us confused with Arky?? We were in the NC game last year, and made a bowl game this year..

But Patterson is at freaking TCU... and is 1-1 in BCS Bowls. At freaking TCU...

But like I said in a retraction, I'm not sure GP would go to LSU. Might not be enough upside relative to his current gig.

I'd give him one more "big bowl game" mess up before we call him Stoops.

Just wondering...is Stoops a bad coach?

Miles is more on Mack's level.

He will be shortly.

I already think they are both doing about the same thing. Both are getting stale with finding ways to lose games but both programs are scared they can't do any better so they stick with them.

I think Miles still has a shot at winning big again but Stoops is just on cruise control over there. Him and Mack are just soaking up paychecks now.

Hmm... I guess. Could take several years of work though. No way the LSU fans will put up with 6 years of Peach Bowl losses.

Meh. Bob Stoops couldn't win a title with Adrian Peterson.

Les Miles had an undefeated regular season with motherfricking Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson.

Nah, Miles just needs to figure out how to get a good passing game going.

Can Miles recover from what has been a tough 2 years stretch of disappointments? Will 2 turn to 3, and so on?

Okay.....23 - 4 is a 2 year stretch of disappointments? 3 of those loses came by less than 1 score. Had the greatest college football regular season in the history of the sport in 2011. Absent a quirk and spate of luck for Bama, he would have hoisted the crystal ball. Your OP is so ridiculous it's funny.

He is already at Stoops level. Depending on what he does in the next couple seasons, he could go full Chizik.

Why? The more passing he allows, the more games LSU loses a season.

I mean I'm all for LSU going full air raid.

No offense, but I'm not sure anyone here GAF about your moral victories. Surely you can't either, can you?

Actually, in 2011 Jarrett Lee had the highest passer rating in the SEC - before being benched. It's possible.
