I wasn't even trying to be mean. Posted it on the rant for people who don't see what Ole Miss does and wanted to show my appreciation that we don't have things like that going on.
I want our players focused on the game and their excitement can be derived from the happenings of it.

I live in Ridgeland and I went to the game with two buddies who went to ole miss and one buddy who went to state. Two of them played high school ball with several of the players on the field tonight.

i could see how Tiger Stadium could be a "letdown" since its so damn old, but the new Alex Box is hands down one of the best baseball stadiums in the NCAA.

I would think eventually they'd get rid of the bleachers but I don't know if the ads are gonna go away.
My main gripe about The Box is the awful food. Although Trustmark is a AA stadium, the food at the game tonight was top notch with real onion rings and shite. Oh, and got damn Chik-fil-a

I agree. The bleachers need to be upgraded asap. The advertisements on the outfield wall were at the old Box so I didn't have a problem with them bringing them over. Yeah, it looks hokey and like a high school field but its kind of nostalgic for a lot of fans.

I got those BBQ nachos every game two years ago when I used to live in BR before they stopped serving them. Those were the only things worth the arm and a leg they charge.

at least the outfield wall is no longer metal. can you imagine how badly sciambra would have been hurt had that diving play against auburn come at the old alex box. he might not have lived to talk about it.

i imagine they'll eventually do away with them, but when you spend that much on a stadium, you have to cut costs somewhere. they had to wait to finish the rest of the boxes until this year. i'd think the rest of the seats, except maybe the outfield bleachers, will be replaced with chair backs when it's all said and done. not that it really matters all that much to me. when you have 10k+ in there for a post season game, no one sees nor cares about sitting in bleachers with a back rest as opposed to a chair back. the outside and rest of the stadium is beautiful, and that is pretty much indisputable
