So, serious question. Does that booster (if this crap is even true) get us in trouble at all? It seems crazy that it would. Especially since he didn't come here. Nobody can control who wants to call up and do that.

No we get in no trouble. Unless she has proof of the whole situation. Which is very doubtful.

It seemed like they wanted him to go to Mizzou all along and anything other schools did was negative.

The dumb bitch actually thought OU's pages of national championships and Heisman winners was a bad thing.

But the tone of Stoops and Norvell’s visit was mostly serious. They preached Oklahoma’s national championships and Heisman Trophy winners.

Norvell also handed out a stack of documents with information that included statistics such as the Sooners’ passing percentage.

“It was so much,” Tracy Beckham said. “All these sheets that were we won this, did this and did that.”

'Preached' haha I love it. I guess since Mizzou couldn't do anything like that they made OU look bad because of it.

honestly wish the PDs in Arkansas were that corrupt. How many of our players have been booked on drunken and possession charges in just the past 5 years? I can think of 3 off the top of my head. I can't speak for Alabama, but Arkansas is pretty strict on MJ poss and DWI.

EXACTLY. The Fayetteville PD is NOTORIOUS for targeting players.

(Probably has to do with them being black...so I'm sure they're just targeting all blacks and it works out that way)

Look, its no coincidence that they chose to actually adopt Dorial and his brother.

Those people live their lives with an agenda and that article just makes it all more clear.

DGB wanted to paint so he did not come to Arkansas. If you want to paint, stay in Missouri...

The whole situation sounds to me like they didn't want DGB at a school that was successful. Easier to meddle at Missouri than it would be at arkansas bama or OU. It sucks for DGB he will never get the chance to be on a team worth a damn. He joined the springfield hillcrest of the SEC

I believe they love their son. I believe they love all their children. I honestly do wonder though... If Dorial was the same exact person in the body of a skinny, 5'2" kid, would they even have taken the chance?

I understand these things have a life of their own but at some point there's nothing productive the fans can do regarding recruiting.

It is possible to waste a lot of angst and time on the comments of the recruits and the parents when a lot of the time their decision is based more on emotion and the salesmanship of the recruiters than the best opportunity available to the kid coming out of high school

Anyway DGB could become a great college player but as an outsider looking in at you guys I don't think missing on him will be all that horrible for Arkansas (you guys will still put points on the board) and I think he could do very well at Missouri where he might become a focus of their offense.

What would probably make a bigger difference to Arkansas would be signing a few highly touted defensive linemen... that is a position of real need and then you'll be cooking with gas

I'm not mad DGB didn't come here. Moved on past that yesterday morning. I'm mad that some bitch has decided that all the sudden we are paying recruits off and she thinks it's a good idea to tell the world.

Dude, it's obvious, all she wants is her 15 mins of fame and that she can hopefully sell it to Hollywood and get a movie deal. Just picture it, a hard working woman adopting a poor family with problems and helping them, out of the goodness of her own heart. It'll come out round 2016. WE NEED A TITLE FOR IT!

Biggest misconception about our team is that we lack quality DLM. We have plenty. It's the deepest position on our defense. You just wouldn't know it. Most of that was on Willy, who preached gap control. I know KState isn't the level of the elite in the SEC, but you saw what our DL could do when Haynes allowed them to stunt...which was missing for the vast majority of the season under Willy. I'm hopeful that will continue. But DL is lowest on my list of concerns as far as defense goes.

What we lack is in the secondary and at LB.
