Forest City Joe thinks they will go with an interim before making a play for Smart and/or Gus providing they leave their current postion prior to start recruiting before the bowl games

Hijacking from flames:
Now that A&M is a conference game, would Arkansas try to set up a yearly game with someone from the old SWC?
I know Texas would be most peoples #1, but I don't see that series happening. Is there enough history with say a TCU or SMU to make it an annual game so you could still play in Dallas every year? Was TTech a rival in any way?
I enjoy the SEC East annual rivalry games vs ACC teams and would like for a couple of the West teams to establish something similar with the Bevo-12.

Just happened to hear his name mention do not know if it is true or not.
Do know, that Jeff Long is pissed and wants him gone but is having huge amounts of resistance from big money boosters and fans. Has reached out to some coaches and Kirby is a name I heard. Of course Gus was on the radio this morning campaigning with his character in coaching statements. God I hope we do not hire Gus.

Your right woo pig just have a relative who was a athlete tutor which was Jessica's former job and this person applied for the job given to JD by BP. I do not think they will sue or do anything about it but it definitely raises doubts? From a legal/ law standpoint you are going on a huge limb if Long keeps BP in power. Of course it is just a drop in the bucket but if Petrino stays then it will go against all University of Arkansas policies.

See, I've been told the direct opposite. Long is fighting to keep him, bit the BOT's are the problem.
Something came out from Saturday to this morning. At that time, money pockets were open minded about this. Now, some have turned and Long is fighting the fight.
