So let's say that there were 20 millionaire aggies who paid 6 different autograph brokers a million dollars a piece to claim McCarron signed for money
those are some sad folks.

No. There has to be proof that McCarron spent time with the millionaire aggies, accepted them in a mutual relationship or paid them for their services to establish the agency, and then there would have to be proof by corroboration that they did it with the intent to benefit McCarron financially.
Uncle Nate is the accepted agent here. Even if no money changed hands, there is some corroborating evidence amongst unrelated people, combined with the physical evidence of 5000 autographs, that there was an intent either by Uncle Nate or Manziel to profit from the autographs.
That said, there was an issue a few years ago with two Alabama players in which they accepted a fishing trip and it was later divulged that the guy who took them out was partners with an Auburn booster. There are obviously people who put that together and thought it was likely something sinister.
The NCAA deals with crazy fans trying to set each other up all the time. It would look suspicious to have 6 aggie millionaires claiming agency when they'd never met McCarron.

All he has to say is "no".
No he didn't get paid for these 5K autographs or no he refuses to cooperate?

Wrong. First of all, Uncle Nate getting paid will be enough. Second, The NCAA is going to ask JFH about signing thousands of autographs for these guys, and if they don't find his answers credible, he's toast.
Where is the bylaw that says a student athlete isnt allowed to sign 5000 autographs in 2 months. I'll wait.

With the new Cecil Newton law, the language allows for trying to get paid in addition to getting paid. Not saying they will use that standard, but it's in the language. Having more than one autograph dealer say that he said he wanted to be paid next time is a little close to the Cecil rule.

A&M's chances of getting any sanctions are next to zero. They have been very outward in how they did everything possible to educate and prevent this and they have been very cooperative with the NCAA. This one is all on Johnny outside of the risk of forfeiting games if he plays and is later suspended (which seems unlikely).
Denial is a great thing..
Actually he's right...so far. If aTm sits Manziel, they haven't done anything wrong, so no punishment will be needed. aTm would only be at risk if they play him.
And vacating wins midyear would be huge, when you consider that it could cost aTm the chance to play in the SECCG and a bowl.

No I'm saying the aggies paid the AUTOGRAPH BROKERS to make the claim that they paid McCarron for autographs just like they are claiming they paid Manziel.

1. Buy 1000 Bama or LSU autographed photos off eBay.
2. Get a photo of a signing session
3. Call Joe Schad
4. ???
5. Profit...

The bylaw states that if he is trying to gain financially, either presently or in future earnings, it's illegal. If you have several autographers who state that was the understanding, mixed with the intent and a tape saying he needs to be paid next time, he's screwed. The pattern of evidence is what they will look at, not each individual piece of evidence in a vacuum.

are you trying to accuse another fanbase of causing poor johnny this issue?

So again, to get a player suspended all you need is some autographs and a broker saying that he paid for them?? No paper trail, no pictures of money changing hands. Nothing. Just the word of a sleazy autograph broker and some autographs that may or may not have even been signed by the player

You're forgetting about a little thing called O'Bannon v. NCAA.

Just saying there is a relationship from strangers without any other corroboration wouldn't fly. It's not like Uncle Nate was told to stay away.

No I'm saying that the NCAA is going to need additional evidence. Some dudes saying it happened isnt enough

No. That's not all you need. I can't help you if you keep missing the point. I can't make you smarter. Sorry.

Jesus effing christ, you really are this stupid, aren't you? If they have witnesses saying either he or Uncle Nate got paid, and if they don't believe JFH's answers to their questions, he's done. If you had two brain cells to rub together, you would be able to comprehend that.

It is if they have a video.
