I have never in my life seen someone so consumed with something that has no consequences upon their life in any meaningful way.

No man, it’s college basketball. It literally is there to provide entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. I, and many others, realize this. Apparently you haven’t grasped that concept yet.

If it's only entertainment, why does it bother you? When people read the funny papers every day, collect comic books, or obsess over Game of Thrones, do you find yourself upset by it?

The news comes a week after the Tigers’ season ended in the Sweet 16 and nearly a month after school officials placed the coach on indefinite suspension for declining to cooperate in an internal investigation regarding a wiretapped phone conversation between the coach and a recruiting middleman. Thompson also represents Arizona coach Sean Miller and Auburn coach Bruce Pearl, who like Wade were both caught in the FBI’s probe into the seedy underworld of college basketball.
