Last I checked, those were Ws. I dont give a ratz azz if we win by 3 points or 30 points. Our team is built on defense, exceptional defense.

Our one loss saw us turn the ball over six times and still gave up 17 total points...thats pretty damn good defense from where Im sitting.

Style points? Oregon has style and scores a lot of points...but also gives up points in bunches. I bet my bottom dollar that Bama would sing different tune if they were not scoring many points...but had that brickwall defense. You'd be telling us what Im telling you now. Bama is a great team and probably the best team in the country from what I have seen...but beatable. Last years team was beatable as LSU proved.

BTW Jacksonville State can into the Swamp averaging around 33 points a game scoring offense and hasdnt been shut out in ages. ULL is not a pushover...pretty damn good team and our team did what it had to...which is more than Bama did at home against A&M.

We faced A&M in their FIRST EVER SEC game at College Station (Thank you Mr Slive for sticking it to UF)with College Gameday and tons of media attention and were outplayed in the first half....adjusted and worn down on them in the second half.

Im not saying UF should be ranked ahead of Bama, but I also know we could stand toe to toe with you and slug it out.

Don't friggin put ALL of us in that category. Like all teams, we have some a-hole fans,maybe even more,lol. As for Florida being ranked behind Bama,who the frick cares? Personally,their QB just hasn't impressed me that much,least not on the level of Johnny football,or even LSU qb, (for 1 game) both having pretty much the best game of the season against a seemingly inferior bama secondary. Why? They were able to have some balance like no other team this year. Georgias AM will have a field day,if Saban doesn't get our secondary issues fixed,and everyone knows it. Both went for over 400 yards of offense against our D.

How is a deciding who has a "better resume" any more subjective than judging teams based on the "eye test?"

I don't think we should be ranked ahead of Alabama (they'd beat us by multiple touchdowns at the moment), but we do have a better resume. The computers demonstrate that.
