The start of this game is almost a mirror image of what happened in Knoxville. In Knoxville Arkansas had only 6 points 9 minutes into the game. So far Tennessee has 7 points 8 minutes in.

It feels like this is the first time it's happened all year.
Tennessee is 2-7 from the field.

I mean...I never thought Grant or Bone would have left a year early. I’m sure he never imagined it either. Those two really hurt.

Probably for the best to lose as many games as possible as badly as possible.
Staff needs a wake up call as to just how bad this roster is. No excuse for more than 5 or 6 of these guys to be back.

It’s no excuse for him to have completely quit recruiting for 2+ cycles.
If he manages to snag one competent role player from the 2017 or 2018 group, we could’ve made a final 4 last year. Instead we had like 7 guys who could play, with all of them coming from Donnie or that 2016 class.

They knew Bone would be gone mid-season last year. His brother was telling everyone who would listen. They may have hoped Williams would be back but he was on every draft board throughout the season.
The real mistake was filling those spots with a sit out transfer in Bailey and Plavsic who is one of the worst takes in program history.

I would guess Nkamhoua will almost assuredly be back. Gaines can be a good player as well imo.
That leaves Pember, Uros and Jalen Johnson. I would axe all the 3 a question but my guess is 1 or 2 will be back. Maybe a surprise jettison from the rest of the roster.
