Concerning the Arkansas talk... I think it's fairly well known here that I have family in Arkansas, some of whom are fairly significant boosters @ Arkansas. There is considerable pressure from a variety of sources in Arkansas to leave the SEC and move to the Big 12. My family members hate being in the SEC and want the "glory days" back. I hear that A LOT. They're incredibly excited about WVU's move to the Big 12 and are really hoping someone at Arkansas stands up and says what a lot of folks in Arkansas are thinking to get the ball rolling. Others have mentioned some of the areas where pressure is coming from. Arkansas has been in the SEC 20+ years now, and what rivalries do they have to show for it? They've never really "connected". A lot of the particularly older fans want to get back into games with Texas schools, etc. Whenever anyone brings up Arkansas it doesn't surprise me. All that being said, I would be shocked if Arkansas left the SEC. I don't look for it to happen, but my what a bombshell it would be. It would absolutely shatter the perception of invincibility of the SEC.
