Arkansas has the #1 punt returner in the SEC, but LSU has the #1 kick returner in the SEC. Also our FG kicker has a better % and our punters have almost identical averages, but I'd take Wing in a heartbeat since half of his punts are downed inside the 10 and he's allowed all of 6 yards PR all year.

Add on the fact that Arkansas gave up a 83 yard PR to Bama for a TD. Im sorry but your special teams are not better.

You fail at life if you think LSU has allowed fewer punt return yards than Arkansas. 6 is the average per return that LSU allows.

Per Hawgeye....who apparently can't read and sucks at math.

Arkansas' punter is nothing to sneeze at (best avg last time I checked) and quite a few downed inside the 20.

Arkansas' kicker gets a touchback what seems to be most of the time.

So it's not like LSU can expect to gain a huge amount of yards through special teams either.

It's fair to say that LSU won't let Joe Adams hurt them. Kick it high and make him call a fair catch. That's what I'd do. No way in hell would I let him have a shot at a return.

Arkansas' chances of hurting LSU are on KO returns, IMO. DJ and Wade both have TD's this year (DJ numerous over the years). It'd be nice if they pulled one out of their asses on friday.

No like 3 inches in the average. 6 is the total allowed all year.

Is there no concern he will out-kick his coverage and give Adams a chance to set up a big return?

What if LSU never has to punt?

Haha just kidding, Adams return ability scares me. Hopefully the LSU offense can consistently get some yards so Wing has more of a chance to drop one in vs having to boot one as far as possible from his own endzone.

It's a huge weapon for Ark to have Adams, the #1 returner in the SEC, when they play teams that they can actually return punts against.

He wont do them any good vs LSU. Mathieu and Brooks will be in his face by the time he catches the ball, it's moot point.

A true statement, but he won't get the chance to do anything against LSU.

The big thing that concerns me about this game is our kickoff coverage. LSU always seems to give up 1, or 2, long kickoff returns. Thankfully our team speed has been able to keep anyone from scoring on them but Adams and Johnson are a heck of a returners and they does scare me.

I think we win by 10 or so but I will probably hold my breathe each time we kick to Adams or Johnson.
