Guy, you're on the Eve of 0-26 when it matters. Slice it, dice it, spin it, WGAF. If you're okay with dusting off a B12T trophy to help you digest that, go riiiiight ahead.

Andersons first class was really Pelphrey's class and it's completely failed but BJ Young, yet his much lower ranked 2012 class shits all over it in year 1, Qualls, Clarke, Bell were the core of the team as freshmen

Think about this for a moment. The 2011 class was a consensus Top 10 class, some had it ranked as high as #3. What if Pelphrey were still here to coach them.

It's sickening when you realize how far the Arkansas program sank under Heath and Pel, and with it down went the SEC conference's basketball strength.

Haith's "cold seat" is producing the exact number of NC's as Anderson's impending "hot seat".

Does that register at all?

Poor attempt.

I like that Arkansas has won one national title in basketball over two decades ago, and now they are using that as some kind of measuring stick for a coach's success against Missouri when they can't even make the NIT.

In 1986 & 1987 Arkansas went combined 31-30 those two years.

Now that is about the weakest statement I've heard yet.

Program was ran into the ground by Heath and Pelphrey,

At least your program was left with players. Mizzou literally had 2 players left for it by MA going into this year. Think about that...2 players. Haith had to do quick work to patch something together and still made the tourney, so I'm not sure I'm about the Heath/Pelphrey argument anymore. I would agree though, by next year, MA has more than had his chance to bring in his own players. Hopefully he gets things turned around and gets to the tourney.

Fear not, the Hogs will rise again next year with a vengeance. Help is on the way with a two 6' 10" players (one a true post player and the other who can play a 3 or 4 spot) along with a 6' 6", 230 LB forward who is a strong inside player, a good ball handler and is very quick for his size. Additionally, Anderson will sign at least one guard and perhaps two before it's over.

I have no doubt that Anderson will have the Hogs right back in the hunt for an SEC Championship and deep runs in the NCAA Tournament soon. It just takes time. Think about it for a minute. Anderson took two teams with very little basketball tradition (UAB and Missouri) to the Great Eight. If he can do it at those two no-tradition schools he will certainly do better at Arkansas.

It seems I get this same statement in December, March and June each and every year for the past century.

When you are Arkansas, you are used to grasping for straws.

Nolan went 31-30 his first two years here. Losing overall record in conference play as well.

He did manage to make the NIT his second year, but only went 8-8 in league play.

Arkansas will be fine with Anderson as he gets his players in. 2 top 50 recruits coming in as well as a transfer will help tons next season. We will also likely sign two more players before its all said and done.

All you have to do is look at improvements at his last stops from year 2 to 3 at UAB and Missouri. Missouri went 16-16 his 2nd year, then went 31-7 and an Elite Eight run his 3rd season.

Really? Arkansas had a terrible year while Missouri made the tourney bracket. In the end, neither will get hardware. How is that a "win" for Missouri in terms of goals met? Do you really set your bar this low 26 times in a row?

Hawgeye, I think there's actually little doubt MA will get things turned around at Arky. I don't believe he'll return y'all to the Nolan days, but there will be an improvement and he'll get you to the tourney. I'm not sold on it being next year, but it could. You have a quality class coming in but they will be freshmen still and while good, it's not UK kind of good.
