Refreshing to see a couple of lower-tier schools with an opportunity to bring home some hardware.

Who y'all got?

Arkansas basketball is low-tier? News to me. I guess they don’t have any Final Four, runner-up, national championship trophies?

They have one national championship. But they have zero championships of any kind; national, regular season or conference tourney; in over 25 years.

If they win tomorrow it will be Arkansas basketball’s first championship since 2000.

Last (and only) year to win a national championship: 1994
Last year to win a SEC regular season championship: 1994
Last year to win a SEC west division title: 1995
Last year to win a SEC tournament championship: 2000

It has been over 25 years since Arkansas won anything of note or made a final four.

Maybe tomorrow that chicken money will come home to roost for them.
