If our staff can continue to locate their curveball, we’ll be a very hard team to beat.
It’s now or never for the Hogs.
Having a healthy Logan Maxwell has done wonders for the offense.

Too bad Serraneaux will be working all weekend but luckily he’s at one of the McDonald’s locations that has TVs in their restrooms.

Agree. They drink wine together when they get the chance. Seriously.

Grok says;
Estimated Win Percentage: Visiting teams likely win Super Regionals at a rate of approximately 25–35%.
Arkansas is in real good shape. Tennessee is a dangerous team, but Arkansas is in real good shape.
I am fine with playing in this tough of a super, it happens. But it seems unfortunate this super lined up this way, looking at the rest of teams in supers. Could be wrong about that, maybe UTSA will win the whole thing. But seeing Ala, Fla, Ga, Tx, Ok, Vandy, and Ole Miss all fall, seems Omaha got easier, not tougher.
Grok knows. : /

If TonyV can beat Arkie, I believe Tenner wins it all again. They got dudes who can chunk it and they can hit and score.

Having Helfrick peaking at the right time has been huge as well. Started SEC play at .220, finished at .330.

No matter what, Vols got (games) a chip and a chair this Saturday and Sunday. Worst case it will have been a good year and 83 days until kick-off. Better case a rubber match and 82 days until kick-off.
Looking at a field with Auburn, LSU, Fla State, UNC, WVA not so sure about that, but it would solidify Tony as having some sort of "it" factor as a gameday coach. Which he already has. IMO. Will be fun to watch.

I've always liked Tony's approach to everything. He is a solid stand up guy and a good coach. He has his team playing right now. Arkie will be hard but if they can weather the "backs", I think they can run deep at CWS. After LSU i always pull for TonyV. The guy is all class and knows how to get his team in that fight mode. I hate complacency in sports, TonyV is the opposite of that. By hook or crook , he finds a way to spark his players.

Serraneaux is going to tell you it's Polo, but it's just the knock-off version.

From what I've seen, against Root, you gotta be patient with him and wait for your pitch, on the other hand you gotta hit Doyle early in the count on the first good pitch you get or your in trouble.
Against LSU, I felt like Doyle/Fulton(correct name?) Were the 2 best pitchers LSU saw all year. I felt like those 2 were really good.

This series will end Monday. Both teams hit fastball well. I can see Tennessee winning Saturday or Sunday but the series will be split with it all on the line Monday. Going to be an incredible environment with great games this weekend. Winner of this game has a great chance of taking it all. Both teams should love where they are at and how they are playing right now. Bats are hot for hogs which is rare for postseason. History says we choke, hope it isn’t this weekend against the vols

I give advantage to hogs due to bullpen depth and hot bats in front of a great crowd

Dang.
Tennessee vs Arkansas. Way more interesting than LSU vs WVU.
Geaux, Hawgs! (and Geaux, Fightin’ Tigers!)

When the brackets first came out, it was stated that the Hawg players were really pissed at this match up.
