Is this about the protesters' views or their employment status?
This is about you assuming you knew my views by stating that I watched O'Reilly.

It seems that you're trying to get a rise out of me.

OK, so you listen to Limbaugh. That doesn't change the fact that you made a blind assumption on a group of people's employment status based on some coverage you watched with pundits talking over it.

I know right? It's almost like this thread is on the wrong board or something.

Nope. I get my news from several sources, but Limbaugh is definitely not one of them.

I have never once mentioned watching any coverage involving pundits discussing the protests. I did, however, mention that I've seen several eyewitness videos accounts of the protests.
BTW, what makes you any better? You're also assuming you know my viewing habits based on a few posts in an internet forum.

Michael Savage doesn't count.

Did those eyewitnesses go up to and poll the protesters on their employment status? Did Laura Ingraham poll all of the protesters, or just show the few she found who responded in the way which "confirmed" her suspicions?

Who's trying to be better? I'm just not giving you the benefit of the doubt. Eyewitness Internet message board post accounts I've seen first-hand indicate that it's the best course of action.

I don't know who that is.

Most of them were too busy filming the protest.

I don't watch her either.

Yes, that is exactly the same as actually seeing a person and hearing their views.

It didn't start out as a political thread.

Then how the frick did they know that the protesters were unemployed? Were they all screaming "WE'RE UNEMPLOYED! TAX THE RICH! WE'RE UNEMPLOYED! TAX THE RICH!"?
What is the story here? And I don't mean the one Ann Coulter told you.

I'm saying that it might not be as easy as you are making it seem to make money to "pay for the entitlements that are killing our economy." You very well could get a good job when you get out of school, but many people can't right now. You are only looking at it through one perspective, that being your own.
it's obviously the rich and evil banks that are responsible for the protesters situation. So why not protest instead of actually finding a solution to their problems. Guess sometimes it's just easier to say frick it and blame someone else.

No one filming the videos I saw ever made any inferences about their employment status. It's just an opinion I have that a sizable portion is possibly unemployed.

Just the "tax the rich" part.

You tell me. I just gave an opinion about what I saw and you keep making assumptions about me.

NOW we get down to the heart of the matter. A person's employment status isn't based in opinion. They either are or aren't. It's cold, hard, indelible fact. What, exactly, are you basing your opinion on? That's the core of what I'm getting to here.

Ok, then we can ignore the chanting part since it isn't germane to ANYTHING I've been talking about.

I'm trying to figure out the mystical difference you're seeing between what you're doing to the protesters and what I'm doing to you.

Sorry. Michelle Malkin had a piece on nasty evildoers making assumptions about your political views?
It's merely my opinion, based on your prior posts in this thread, that you get 99% of your information from Glenn Beck. I'm entitled to my (uninformed) opinion just as much as you're entitled to your (equally uninformed) opinion that the protesters are "all" or "mostly" unemployed, right?
Or does the sword not cut both ways?

Why do you care so much about my opinion? I'm just one person on a message board.

I at least know some of the protesters political views and feelings and you know neither about me?

How is mine equally uniformed when I know the political views of some of the protesters while you know none of mine?

This. Is. Not. About. Political. Views.
This is about egalitarianism and making assumptions based on little to no facts.

Then why keep listing pundits of a certain political view and insist that I receive my news from them?

To illustrate a point. What I'm doing is unfair. It makes an assumption that you are force-fed your beliefs based on the fact that you share one or two of said beliefs in common with conservative political pundits.
The point is about fairness, not politics.
