Well, with one correction. We don't have the lobbying power of billionaires and corporations.

Corporate personhood out of govt, I support.

Our politicians shouldn't be bought and sold. That is a huge part of the problems all of us are pissed off about all the time.

I've seen numerous protests that have been posted online. Have you actually been to a protest?

yes the one in New York and the one in Atlanta. I thought like you did until I went to see with my own eyes. You should go, you will come away with a different perspective

I just took a binger and made myself some greasy, buttery scrambled eggs with sauteed onions and almond meal.

I'm hippier.

You mean this one where the protesters just mindlessly repeat whatever the person with the bullhorn says?

I have better things to do with my life, like receive an education and pay for the entitlements that are killing our economy.

Sorry, but corporations having unrestrained ability to influence govt policy does not save you any money or make your life better.

I'm way more Libertarian than liberal. Hell I am more conservative than liberal, but I think some good could come from these protests.

Poli board.

So you're saying that there are no jobs available?

I have never said that it does. I just don't like the "ideas" these protesters are advocating, such as a $20/hr minimum wage. They're also not just protesting corporations, but the entire "1%", which they have yet to define.

I'm saying that it might not be as easy as you are making it seem to make money to "pay for the entitlements that are killing our economy." You very well could get a good job when you get out of school, but many people can't right now. You are only looking at it through one perspective, that being your own.

My understanding of the protests is that there are a lot of ideas. A lot of differing ideas.

Sure, some commies in the bunch. No doubt. But I am not willing to dismiss the spirit of the protests based on a few ideas.

There are a lot of things those kids are saying that I agree with.

I've mad no claims about it being easy to find a job. This doesn't that there isn't work available, though.

Serious question: Do you have a job right now? I'd just like to get a better grasp of your perspective.

It would have been better

A) Without the music in the background so we could hear the protesters' reactions

B) If the frat boys had figured out the logistics of hanging a sign BEFORE the video started rolling.

I have a job, and go to school.

Also, I'm not sure as to why you assume that these protesters are unemployed?

(Go to city's put in bids for jobs - Be only person making said bids and bank on it)

I have not completely dismissed all of their ideas, just the ones that I don't think will be productive.

I just have a problem with them going to Wall St. to protest "bad corporations" while they sip Starbucks and tweet on their iPhones.

For example:

What's stopping her from giving away her inheritance to those people that she claims she wants to help?

I don't think ALL of them are unemployed, but I would wager that a sizable portion of them are. Most working people don't have time to leave their jobs to join a protest during the middle of the day.
