6) People are calling for Coach Houston Nutt to be replaced. They are fed up with the team's lack of consistency, consistent under achievement, lack of team discipline, and insufficient recruiting. People have attached the nick-name "quarterback-killer" to him, and often refer to the lack of developed high school quarterbacks within the program. They are put off that he's publicly flirted with other jobs in order to posture for raises. They also grow tired of his constant excuse making -- i.e. injuries, tough schedule, young players, and "poor execution" by the players;
Thought that part was funny. Jus' sayin'

Chancellor maybe, but not Broyles. That dude was old and it was well past his time, Nutt or no-Nutt.
White was shown the door for firing a guy and giving him a $3 million dollar severance package. That did not sit well with the BOT. Broyle's retirement was hastened due to the fact that he basically took the stance of over his dead body would Nutt be fired.
At the end of the day, Tyson got what he wanted (don't frick with the chicken guy) and it has turned out great for us on all fronts with the Petrino hiring, Anderson hiring and keeping Van Horn happy.

Matt Jones and Darren McFadden singlehandedly kept Nutt employed for 5 years.
2 players though that were recruited and signed by Nutt. So he should at least get credit for those guys.
Never understand why Arkie fans always say that. Nobody ever says Miles only won because of Jamarcus Russell or Saban only won because of Mark Ingram.
Nutt straight up inked those guys. They didn't have to sign with Arkansas.

It has to be killing knowing what Petrino is doing at his former dream job. I think that has actually killed his drive & confidence as well.
He isn't the same coach he used to be.
Yeah I think you're right. If he gets rolled up by BMFP this year at home his spirit will be completely broken if its not already. He'll try to rally this weekend, but Bama is just too much IMO

Hitler could've recruited those guys to the Hill, I don't think DMC even took another visit. Jones was born and raised 30 minutes from Fayetteville.

This, as well for Hillis. Felix is the only guy that might not have played here for sure

I think it's hard for guys with multiple BCS schools in their state to understand this sometimes. There are just some guys that are going to play at Arkansas regardless of who the coach is because it's the only show in town.

But they still could have not liked Nutt and gone elsewhere. A lot like Dyer and Petrino's catfight.

And this is the guy that Saban recommended LSU hire to replace him. Good move, Skip. And Nick...

Don't you have to actually achieve something before you could be considered "under achieving?"

Mustain would have if not for Malzahn.
Mallett did.
Tyler Wilson would have.

When Nutt first came to Arkansaa he was a good guy. As time went on he started to get the big head. He was one of Broyles former players, played on the same team as Jerry Jones, Tyson, Lyndsey and some other big dog alumni. Got to thinking his shite didn't stink in other words. Well after a while his shite did start stinking. Ran off Malzan, fricked over Mustain, actually chased off 2 excellent recruits to USC. It was time for him to go. But anybody in Arkansas that says he was never a good coach is full of shite. As stated earlier, it was just time for him to go.
