anyone know the story behind Weir, the kid from Canada? I looked on dumbville, but all I saw were posts by all of the talent experts saying what position he would best suited for.

6-4, 220lbs 4.39 athlete...was the player of the year in his 'division'
a recruiting analyst said if he was from Texas he would have been recruited nationally...John L Smith found him via a contact he has in the region.

Weir's mother is a vice-principal at his school, they seem to think that he's done what it takes to qualify, and he apparently plans to enroll next semester. Also, here's a link to some All-Star game in which he is one of only three Canadians selected to participate: LINK
