Of those bowls 8 are Sugar and the five wins we have in the Sugar two are over Ark.
There is one more stat you may like. What is the only team Frank Broyles couldn't beat? A JV coached team!!!!!!!!!!!

Where you've been doesn't matter. It's the moodswings of the fans. LSU and Bama win, they are the greatest team on the face of the planet. When they suck, they are garbage. Ole Miss fans get hopeful, but our enthusiasm is generally curbed. Who on here, for example (besides WRT), has claimed anything about being a lock for the west? LSU on the other hand, with less to back it up (in terms of returning players and last season), thought they were going to be awesome this year.

I still think we are going to be awesome this year. Awesome is a relative word. I was around for some pretty crappy years. I think we will AT LEAST make it to a new years day bowl game this year...in my mind that makes us awesome.

As to the OP, I agree.
Most Arkansas bloggers are silly.
And most Arkansas sports talk radio is complete and utter trash. And its not just homerism and Nutt huggery. Its the rehashing of the same topics on literally 7 or 8 different shows per day.
I swear, I left Arkansas and local sports talk radio was nothing. I come back five years later and its omnipresent. Its like watching a nonstop loop of slobbering Lou Holth and Mark May discussing the same team over and over and over and over every day all day long.
I suppose most people don't listen to their sports talk radio as much as I and so they don't get the overkill.
The internet and democratization of media hasn't made anybody smarter, thats for sure. It just gives voice to every dumbfruck and a-hole, as evidenced by every fricking post in this thread.

No I do know the type...
Two years ago after we lost to Arkansas in the last regular season game, a TON of fellow tiger fans didn't show up in Atlanta bc they thought we blew our shot at the nat'l title...can you ever imagine a rebel fan not going to the SECCG for the same reason? See how easily spoiled some of our fans have gotten?
I am one of those fans that stay even when we are getting beat by Troy by 28 in the freezing weather...I didn't leave at halftime of the GA game...those people make me sick...I know every fanbase has them but really? We are a decade removed from season's such as 4-8 or so...I was there...wish some of the fellow fans would remember...
