thats not at all what i was proving unless you didn't read my point...the previous poster discredited Arkansas previous championships in the Southwest Conference by stating that Ole Miss's championships where in a conference that "still existed" so I merely pointed out that Arkansas has been more successful since joining the SEC than Ole Miss has in that time period...can I get a BOOM again?

It does compare, because he did it at Ole Miss vs. Arkansas. More than likely, we wouldn't have been in a couple of those Cotton Bowls it wasn't for Arkansas' history there and our fan base being known for taking over that town. The Cotton Bowl loves Arkansas.

In addition, one of Nutt's trips to ATL was soley b/c Bama was on probation. I believe Cut tied for the SEC West once in his first seven years, so he's equal to Nutt there. Nutt's other trip came in his 9th year at Arkansas. You can't give him a nod over Cut when it comes to that b/c Cut didn't get that long.

You can say they don't compare all you want...but they do in every way. You know that you hired a guy that produced a record identical to a guy you thought it was a good idea to get rid of at a school with more money, better fans, better facilities, and more success recently.

Although my new friend from LSU has done a nice job with this, let me also jump in:

1) Our facilities blow yours out of the water
2) Our fan base is far-and-away better
4) Our top 5 boosters could buy the state of Mississippi
3) We have accomplished 10x more than you have since we joined the SEC
4) The only things you've ever won was back when nothing but white kids played college football


Only an Ole Miss fan would argue that your program is on the level of Arkansas. You split the poorest state in the country three ways when it comes to college football. The only thing you can argue to your favor is recruiting base, but considering most of them are not eligible anyway I would even question that.
