criticism that the stadium is older and hasn't been updated to match other SEC facilities.
It isn't an SEC facility. It is a municipal facility and it isn't even up to FCS standards on the inside.

Here are some links to homes currently listed for sale on Zillow within walking distance of the stadium:
I'm not going to shite on Little Rock because I don't think the city is that bad, but those aren't really impressive. It's hard to find anything in Fayetteville proper that isn't a tear down, for less than $250/SF. Most of those prices aren't that high.
Little Rock money doesn't do a helluva lot for the University these days, compared to NWA money. Show me something with a Little Rock family name on it on campus.
On the other hand, NWA families send big donations to UAMS, in Little Rock.
Anywho, there is zero defense for continuing to play games in Little Rock. It's stupid, outdated, and should have died 15 years ago.

Maybe, but there still would have been about 20,000 more fans at the game than there were Saturday.

We need to have Arkansas State come here in 2025, I don't give a shite what the plan was before.
And stop playing UAPB. Harding and Ouachita Baptist could beat them.

It's pretty simple, nobody wants to be in NLR. They thought moving the game to earlier in the day would solve this problem. It didn't...

We were boycotting the coach

They will extend it to another two years and extend it again.
Before you know it, Arkansas will be playing ASU yearly.
Why?
Because Arkansas is simple minded.

Sam wanted to move it earlier because he wanted his players to go home and watch film.
So really he didn't want the game in Little Rock as it wasn't necessary.

Went to War Memorial for a high school game a week before. Probably 15K+ people showed up a high school game that is never competitive. Place is a dump, not in a great part of town, but no where near the worst Little Rick has to offer.
They only sold tickets online and did not have day of sales for a freaking HS game. They have a lot of problems with riff raft walk ups. Only heard of one fight in the parking lot, which was much better than prior years.
Heading to Fayetteville for the BYU game, but had no interest is this scrimmage
game. Hogs are my "other" team. Pittman is a good dude and the offense will likely be salty. Defensive line might surprise as well.

Otherwise....

Posted on 9/4/23 at 5:41 pm to Omahawgs15
The attendance would still be a little over 60,000.

We'd have had at bare minimum 65-68k in Fayetteville for the opener, including 10,000 students. Enrollment in Fayetteville is over 32,000 now. My honest guess is there would have been 72k there.
