- Excluding former Southwest Conference schools and several current SEC schools, Tulsa is Arkansas’ most common non-conference opponent with 60 previous meetings dating back to 1931. However, this is just the sixth time the two programs have met in this century.
- Arkansas leads the all-time series 36-24, including a 24-8 advantage in games played in Fayetteville.

- Arkansas has an RPI of 14, down three after an overtime loss at Western Kentucky. Arkansas’ RPI is better than eight teams in the top 25, including Villanova, Arizona, Oregon, Baylor, Tennessee, North Carolina, Memphis and Michigan State.
- ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Hogs as a #9 seed, facing Utah State in Omaha of the West Region of the 2020 NCAA Basketball Tournament.

- Arkansas will only play five games in December two in Bud Walton Arena, two on the road and one in Little Rock.
- The five games ties for the second-fewest (on record) December games in school history. Arkansas also played just five games in December during the 1996-97; 1988-89 and 1940-41 seasons.
- NOTE: Arkansas only played four games in December of an 18-game season in 1936-37. Arkansas played a program-high 11 games in December during the 1971-72 and 1942-43 seasons.

- Arkansas has officially sold out four upcoming men’s basketball home games this season, including Kentucky (Jan. 18), TCU (Jan. 25), Mississippi State (Feb. 15) and Missouri (Feb. 22).

- Arkansas is coming off its first loss in overtime on the road versus #58 RPI Western Kentucky.
THE “BAD”
- Arkansas lost its first game.
- Arkansas lost for the first time when controlling the tip (5-1) and for the first time when scoring first (6-1).
- Arkansas trailed for the first time at halftime.
- Arkansas trailed for the first time in the second half.
- Arkansas lost for the first time when leading with two minutes remaining in regulation.
- Western Kentucky was the first team to score over 61 points (and had 53 in the second half plus overtime).
- WKU was the first team has have a scoring run better than an 8-0 run (9-0 at 15:42 in the first half).
- Arkansas trailed for 21:45 at Western Kentucky. Entering the game, Arkansas had only trailed a total of 25:17. (16:16 of that was in the first half versus Northern Kentucky)
- Arkansas only led for 16:11 at Western Kentucky. Entering the game, Arkansas had led for at least 31:43 in each of the first eight games.
BUT THE RAZORBACKS STILL:

We have really slowed down when it comes to playing Tulsa in basketball and football. From 1935 till 1990 I think we played them pretty much every year in football. Since then I think it is like 5-6 games over the last 30 years.
