• This will be the 63rd meeting between Arkansas and Alabama. The Razorbacks own a 34-28 advantage in the series, including a 28-24 cushion in games since Arkansas joined the SEC.

• The Razorbacks have won five straight in the series and 6-of-thelast-7. However, the Crimson Tide owns a 20-7 advantage in games played in Tuscaloosa.

LAST YEAR:
• Daniel Gafford, who had a double-double in the first half and finished with 29 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Razorbacks to an 82-70 win over Alabama in the teams’ 2018-19 regular-season finale.

• Isaiah Joe finished with 15 points, had a career-high six steals and tied a career-high with six rebounds.

• The game was tight throughout the first half. The largest lead was five points by Arkansas, 36-31, which was the halftime score. Overall, the first half featured six ties and second lead changes.

• The Crimson Tide got as close as seven points (56-49) with 7:45 left to play. Desi Sill answered with a 3-pointer to go up 10. Alabama hung around until Joe sank two free throws and converted a 4-point play to
put the game out of reach.

• Mason Jones scored an SEC career-high 34 points and added a career-high 12 rebounds on Wednesday versus South Carolina to push him to the top of the SEC scoring list at 19.2 ppg.

• Arkansas has never had a player lead the SEC in scoring at season’s end.

• Jones also leads the team in rebounding, assists and steals. In fact, he is THE ONLY PLAYER IN THE SEC to rank among the top 20 in scoring (1st) and rebounds (14th) while ranking among the top 12 in steals (5th) and assists (11th).

Most recently, Arkansas held Texas A&M to 28.6, LSU to 26.7%, Ole Miss to 23.1% and Vandy to 25%. Overall, opponents are a combined 87-of-353

• Arkansas has only committed 67 turnovers in its first seven SEC games (or 9.6/gm fewest in SEC play) while forcing 103 (or 14.7 2nd most in SEC play). Arkansas has committed single-digit turnovers six times this year (8 vs South Dakota, 8 vs Tulsa, 9 versus Texas A&M, 7
at LSU, 7 vs Vandy and 7 at Mississippi State).
^ Arkansas’ +5.1 turnover margin ranks 11th NCAA / 1st SEC

• The team has struggled a couple of games recently shooting just 8-of-15 (.533) vs Vandy, just 6-of-11 (.545) at Mississippi State and missing 14 free throws (28-of-40) in the two-point loss to South Carolina. However, Arkansas shot 72% in the win over TCU, including 14-of-18 in the second half.

• HOWEVER, ARKANSAS IS SHOOTING 79.8% (206-258) FROM THE CHARITY STRIPE IN THE SECOND HALF,

• LAST YEAR: Mason Jones made a 3-pointer at 18:43 of the first half at South Carolina (Feb. 9, 2019) to mark the 1,000th straight game Arkansas made at least one triple.

• Arkansas fans were getting nervous the streak might end versus Texas Southern. The Razorbacks were 0-of-13 from
distance in the first half. However, Isaiah Joe opened the second half with a triple and would make six in the period enroute to 29 second-half points 33 total.

• Arkansas ranks fourth-tied on the NCAA active list of teams that have made at least one 3-pointer.
1. UNLV 1,092 consecutive games (thru 1/26 - next 2/1)
2. Duke 1,079 consecutive games (thru 1/28 - next 2/1)
3. ARKANSAS 1,031 CONSECUTIVE GAMES
Western Kentucky 1,031 consecutive games (thru 1/30 - next 2/1)

• UNLV and Princeton have made a 3-pointer in every game since the NCAA adopted the rule in 1986-87. Kentucky and
Vanderbilt are the only other teams to make a 3-pointer in over 1,000 games.
^ The Wildcats’ streak ended March 2018 at 1,047 games (0-for-6 vs. Davidson in NCAA first round).
^ The Commodores’ streak ended Jan. 15, 2020 at 1,080 games (0-for-25 vs. Tennessee).

• The last game Arkansas did not make a 3-pointer was when the Razorbacks went 0-for-2 at Texas on Jan. 07, 1989.
